LEGO has officially revealed the first-ever Up-Scaled Pokémon Minifigure, with the legendary Trainer Red taking center stage in a brand-new set created to celebrate Pokémon’s 30th anniversary.

Pokémon first launched in 1996 with Pokémon Red and Pokémon Green, growing into one of the world’s biggest entertainment franchises through video games, animation, trading cards, movies and merchandise enjoyed by millions of fans across multiple generations.

The new release marks Pokémon’s debut in LEGO’s popular Up-Scaled Minifigure series, which recreates standard LEGO minifigures at more than six times their original size as detailed brick-built display pieces.

Red is the iconic protagonist of the original Pokémon Red and Pokémon Green titles and has become one of the franchise’s most celebrated Trainers, later returning as the powerful final opponent atop Mt. Silver in Pokémon Gold and Pokémon Silver.

The 930-piece model faithfully recreates Red’s instantly recognizable appearance, including his signature red cap, blue jeans, and classic trainer outfit from the original Pokémon games.

LEGO has also revealed that a standard-sized Red minifigure will be included exclusively with the upcoming LEGO Pokémon 72154 Iconic Trainer Moments: Poké Ball, allowing collectors to display both versions of the famous Trainer together.
