Amuro Ray and Judau Ashta Inspire Gundam’s Latest Official Jewelry Collection
Image by James RichardsonBandai has teamed up with Japanese jewelry brand THE KISS for two new Gundam necklaces inspired by Amuro Ray and Judau Ashta, translating details from the pilots’ suits into understated silver accessories.
The latest STRICT-G × THE KISS collaboration brings together Mobile Suit Gundam: Char’s Counterattack and Mobile Suit Gundam ZZ, with one necklace dedicated to each series’ protagonist.

STRICT-G is Bandai’s official Gundam fashion label, while THE KISS specializes in character-inspired rings, necklaces and other jewelry, with the two brands most recently reuniting for a new Gundam SEED FREEDOM collection starring Kira, Lacus, Athrun and Cagalli.

Their latest collaboration moves back into the Universal Century, beginning with Amuro Ray as he appeared during his final confrontation with Char Aznable in 1988’s Char’s Counterattack.

The Amuro Ray necklace uses a slim silver plate based on patterns from his pilot suit, with two stones in colors associated with the character set into the front.

Amuro’s personal emblem and name are also engraved into the pendant, which measures approximately 13 × 6.4 mm and provides a more direct reference to the character without relying on portrait artwork or imagery of his Mobile Suit.

Judau Ashta’s necklace instead uses a longer bar-shaped pendant inspired by both the pattern and belt detailing of his pilot suit from Mobile Suit Gundam ZZ.

A character-colored stone is set into the front, while the reverse carries the Gundam ZZ logo alongside Judau’s engraved name, with the pendant measuring approximately 17.5 × 3.7 mm.

Both characters have also inspired recent STRICT-G collaborations with ALPHA INDUSTRIES, including a new Char’s Counterattack flight jacket based on Amuro and a new Gundam ZZ 40th anniversary N-2B flight jacket based on Judau.

Both necklaces use silver 925 for their pendants and come with 50 cm adjustable chains finished with rhodium coating, while each is supplied in its own original presentation box.

Pre-orders for both STRICT-G × THE KISS necklaces are now open through the STRICT-G Online Store on Premium Bandai Japan, priced at ¥15,400 each (approximately $98 / £73), with reservations scheduled to remain available until November 24 at 11 PM JST, subject to stock availability.
THE KISS is also accepting orders through its FANFUNMARKET online store, with both necklaces scheduled to ship in February 2027.
Bandai has indicated that the collection may receive a broader international release, with any corresponding US pre-orders likely to open through Premium Bandai US in the near future.
