BLEACH creator Tite Kubo has revealed 10 new Soul Reapers created for the franchise’s next original story, significantly expanding its cast of rookie recruits.
The characters will debut in “BLEACH Mirrors High,” Bandai Namco Entertainment’s new smartphone game set after the events of Thousand-Year Blood War and built around players beginning their own journey as a member of the Gotei 13.

Rather than retelling events from the manga or anime, Mirrors High follows an original post-war storyline beginning with a soul awakening in Karakura Town, with players able to customize their protagonist’s appearance and alter both the look and fighting style of their Zanpakuto.

Kubo’s original cast began taking shape earlier this year when Shirin Migishima and Shirane Sanari were revealed as the game’s two protagonists, with the BLEACH creator also contributing to the overall scenario, casting process, and wider development of the project.

That was followed by the reveal of three more Kubo-designed rookie Soul Reapers in July, introducing Naru Jurinna, Giro Hando and Maiko Tokishima alongside a deeper look at the game’s combat and customization systems.

The latest announcement now adds another 10 original recruits, with Kubo providing the character designs and Bandai Namco also revealing the voice actor behind each newcomer.
The 10 newly revealed Soul Reapers are:
- Hachirota Robe – voiced by Yuga Sato

- Tasuku Nimura – voiced by Hiromu Mineta

- Kuon Hoshimura – voiced by Wakana Maruoka

- Ibuki Kajimaru – voiced by Shuichi Uchida

- Mizuki Gandera – voiced by Natsumi Fujiwara

- Daikaku Sohaji – voiced by Taiki Yamashita

- Tamesu Gocho – voiced by Fumiya Imai

- Kanuka Sanakura – voiced by Saho Shirasu

- Seishiro Ginza – voiced by Tomohito Takatsuka

- Soyogi Sukenaga – voiced by Shota Hayama

Together with Shirin, Shirane, Naru, Giro and Maiko, the additions bring the currently revealed group of original Soul Reapers created for Mirrors High to 15 named characters.
Bandai Namco has also released Kubo’s original setting artwork for the newcomers alongside comments from their respective voice actors, giving fans a closer look at the designs beyond their appearances in the game itself.

The new cast will exist alongside established BLEACH characters including Ichigo Kurosaki, Rukia Kuchiki, Renji Abarai, Kisuke Urahara, Byakuya Kuchiki and Toshiro Hitsugaya, who have already been confirmed for the game.

Battles are built around teams of three characters and a card-based action system, with players selecting different Action Cards before combining individual attacks, Mortal Blows and coordinated Soul Drive techniques.

The special broadcast revealing the new Soul Reapers also premiered the full opening animation produced by PIERROT FILMS, the studio behind BLEACH: Thousand-Year Blood War, alongside the new opening theme “CRITICAL”.

The song is written and composed by suisoh, who previously worked on BLEACH: Thousand-Year Blood War, with arrangement handled jointly by suisoh and ASIAN KUNG-FU GENERATION bassist Takahiro Yamada.

“BLEACH Mirrors High” will be released as a free-to-play game with in-app purchases for iOS and Android on October 28, 2026, with support planned for English, Japanese and several additional languages.
