Tite Kubo Reveals Two New Soul Reapers for BLEACH: Mirrors High

Bandai Namco Entertainment has revealed two brand-new original Soul Reapers for its upcoming mobile game BLEACH: Mirrors High as closed beta registration gets underway.
BLEACH, created by Tite Kubo, is one of the most influential manga and anime franchises of the past two decades, following Ichigo Kurosaki after he gains the powers of a Soul Reaper and becomes caught in battles involving Hollows, Soul Society and powerful supernatural enemies.

Unlike previous games based on the series, BLEACH: Mirrors High tells an original story set after the events of the Thousand-Year Blood War, expanding the universe with new characters personally designed by Kubo himself.

The latest trailer introduces Shirane Sanari and Shirin Migishima, two original Soul Reapers who will make their debut as part of the game’s post-war storyline.
Kubo has been deeply involved with the project since its earliest planning stages, contributing to the game’s title, overall scenario and original character designs.

The creator explained that he became so invested in designing the new cast that he ultimately produced more character concepts than had originally been requested.
He also created the game’s logo with the intention of making it simple yet instantly recognizable as part of his own visual style.

Kubo additionally participated in the voice casting process and attended recording sessions to ensure the characters matched the vision he had while designing them.
He also teased that the game’s story is partially connected to the original manga’s main narrative, giving longtime fans another reason to keep an eye on the project.

Applications for the upcoming closed beta are now open and will remain available until July 13, 2026.
The test is scheduled to run from July 22 at 11:00 PM PDT until July 29 at 10:59 PM PDT and will support Japanese, English, French, German, Traditional Chinese and Korean.

Players can participate on iOS devices running iOS 17.0 or later with at least 4 GB of RAM, or Android devices running Android 12.0 or later with a minimum of 6 GB of RAM, although tablet devices will not be supported and iOS users will need Apple’s TestFlight application.
The announcement arrives as the BLEACH anime approaches its conclusion, with BLEACH: Thousand-Year Blood War adapting the manga’s final storyline after its first three parts aired between 2022 and 2024.

The fourth and concluding installment, BLEACH: Thousand-Year Blood War – The Calamity, is scheduled to premiere on July 25, 2026, with Hikaru Murata directing the series under chief director Tomohisa Taguchi at PIERROT FILMS.
