Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War Final Chapter Reveals Theme Songs and New Key Visual Ahead of July Premiere
New information has been released for the concluding chapter of the Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War anime, including a fresh promotional visual, theme song details, and a confirmed premiere date for the final installment.
“Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War – The Calamity,” serves as the fourth and final part of the long-running adaptation of Tite Kubo’s climactic manga storyline.
Bleach remains one of the most influential shonen franchises of the past two decades, following Soul Reaper Ichigo Kurosaki as he becomes entangled in battles involving the Soul Society, Hollows, Arrancar, and the mysterious Quincy forces.
The Thousand-Year Blood War storyline adapts the manga’s final saga, chronicling the devastating conflict between the Soul Reapers and the Wandenreich while bringing numerous character arcs to their ultimate conclusion.
“Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War – The Calamity” has now been confirmed to debut on July 25, 2026, with a late-night broadcast on TV Tokyo in Japan.
The series will subsequently expand to additional Japanese television networks over the following weeks, including BS TV Tokyo, AT-X, Hiroshima TV, Niigata Broadcasting, and Sendai Broadcasting.
Streaming availability in Japan is scheduled to begin on July 26, 2026, allowing viewers to watch the new episodes shortly after the television premiere.
Music will once again play a major role in the production, with singer jo0ji performing the opening theme song “I-BULL”.
The ending theme, titled “Rasen” (“Spiral”), will be performed by singer-songwriter 9Lana.
A newly revealed key visual offers fans another glimpse at the final confrontation that will bring the Thousand-Year Blood War storyline to its conclusion.
Ahead of the official launch, North American audiences will have an opportunity to experience the beginning of the final chapter on the big screen.
Special advance screenings of the first three episodes are scheduled to take place in United States theaters between June 25 and June 29 through a collaboration between Viz Media and Fathom Entertainment.
Both Japanese-language screenings with English subtitles and English-dubbed versions will be available during the theatrical event.
The screenings will also include an exclusive behind-the-scenes discussion featuring Bleach creator Tite Kubo, chief series director Tomohisa Taguchi, and series director Hikaru Murata.
The road to this final chapter began in October 2022 when the first cour of Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War premiered and introduced viewers to the long-awaited adaptation of the manga’s concluding arc.
That initial run concluded in December 2022 with a one-hour special combining episodes 12 and 13.
The second cour followed in July 2023 and expanded the global rollout through Hulu in the United States, Disney+ in many international territories, and other regional streaming services.
Part 3, subtitled “The Conflict,” debuted in October 2024 before ending with an extended one-hour finale in December of the same year.
The complete Thousand-Year Blood War adaptation has been structured as four separate cours released with breaks between each installment.
Once “Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War – The Calamity” concludes, the anime will have fully adapted the remainder of the original manga, covering volumes 55 through 74 and bringing Bleach’s final arc to the screen in its entirety.
“Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War – The Calamity” premieres on July 25, 2026, with advance theatrical screenings of its first three episodes taking place in U.S. cinemas from June 25 to June 29, 2026.
