Twisted-Wonderland Season 2 “Episode of Savanaclaw” Confirmed for December Release
Disney+ has officially confirmed that Disney Twisted-Wonderland The Animation will return this December with Episode of Savanaclaw, the second season of the anime adaptation, alongside the release of a brand-new teaser visual.
The announcement was made on July 27 to coincide with the birthday of Leona Kingscholar, the leader of Savanaclaw Dorm, placing one of the series’ most popular characters firmly in the spotlight ahead of the new season.
Disney Twisted-Wonderland is based on the hit mobile game developed by Aniplex in collaboration with Disney, transporting players to the magical Night Raven College where iconic Disney villains have inspired the school’s unique dormitories and unforgettable cast of students.
The anime follows Yūken Enma, a high school kendo club member who is suddenly transported to the mysterious world of Twisted-Wonderland after encountering a strange black carriage during a full moon.
Unable to return home, Yūken finds himself enrolled at the prestigious Night Raven College, where he gradually becomes entangled in the lives of the academy’s exceptionally talented but often difficult students while searching for a way back to his own world.
Episode of Savanaclaw continues the anime’s planned three-season adaptation of the game’s story, with each season focusing on one of the manga arcs based on the original mobile game.
The first season, Episode of Heartslabyul, premiered exclusively on Disney+ in October 2025 as an eight-episode series before also launching with an English dub on both Disney+ and Hulu.
Many of the game’s original voice actors return for the new season, including Yūichirō Umehara as Leona Kingscholar, alongside Natsuki Hanae as Riddle Rosehearts, Seiichirō Yamashita as Ace Trappola, Chiaki Kobayashi as Deuce Spade, Aoi Ichikawa as Ruggie Bucchi, Taito Ban as Jack Howl and the wider cast representing each of Night Raven College’s seven dorms.
The anime is produced by Yumeta Company and Graphinica, with Takahiro Natori serving as chief director, Shin Katagai directing, Yoichi Kato overseeing the main scripts, Hanaka Nakano and Akane Satō designing the characters, and Takumi Ozawa returning from the game to compose the soundtrack, while Night Ravens once again performs the opening theme “Piece of my world”.
Episode of Savanaclaw will stream exclusively on Disney+ beginning in December 2026.
