A new Bungo Stray Dogs 10th anniversary event is set to launch this November, offering exclusive merchandise based on winter-themed artwork featuring Atsushi, Dazai, Kunikida, Ranpo, Akutagawa and Chuuya.

The “Yokohama Birthday Festival 2026” campaign will take over locations around Yokohama and Minato Mirai with pop-up shops, a Minatomirai Line collaboration train, character photo spots and a digital stamp rally.

Bungo Stray Dogs is based on the manga written by Kafka Asagiri and illustrated by Sango Harukawa, with its anime adaptation first airing in 2016 and now celebrating its 10th anniversary.

The series follows supernatural versions of famous literary figures, with much of its story centered on the Armed Detective Agency and the Port Mafia in Yokohama, making the city itself an important part of the wider franchise.

For the new anniversary artwork, the six featured characters swap their familiar outfits for winter clothing including coats, scarves and knitwear, with separate newly created mini-character designs also appearing throughout the campaign.

Exclusive merchandise will include foil-finished trading badges, acrylic stands, an acrylic panel, postcards, mini-character collectibles, ornament-style acrylic keychains, a clear file and a pouch, with the main illustrations and chibi artwork both represented across the collection.

Three different purchase bonuses will also be offered depending on where fans shop, with ticket-style double-sided cards available at the first pop-up, Christmas ornament-style bookmarks at the second venue and mini-character postcards reserved for online orders.

The Minatomirai Line collaboration will include a specially decorated Yokohama High Speed Railway Y500-series train, while the pop-up stores will sell a commemorative one-day ticket supplied with an original pass case.

Character photo panels using the new artwork will also appear at three stations, with Atsushi and Dazai at Bashamichi, Kunikida and Ranpo at Nihon-odori, and Akutagawa and Chuuya at Motomachi-Chukagai.

A free digital stamp rally will send visitors to six locations around Yokohama, awarding a different digital wallpaper at each stop and a special group design to anyone who completes the full route.

Five people who complete the rally will also be selected to receive a special prize set containing mini-character stickers and complete collections of the three merchandise purchase bonuses.

A separate social media campaign will give another five winners a mini-character panel of their choice after posting a photo from one of the rally locations with the official event hashtag.

Bungo Stray Dogs “Yokohama Birthday Festival 2026” will run across the Yokohama and Minato Mirai area from November 14 through December 25, 2026.
