Godzilla Prepares to Go Minus Zero as Huge New Official Merch Collection Revealed

Bandai has officially unveiled the complete prize lineup for its upcoming Godzilla Ichiban Kuji, which spans several decades of the franchise’s monster movie history.

“Ichiban Kuji Godzilla Kaiju Ranbu: Zero no Kodou” features four MONSTERLISE figures alongside an assortment of smaller merchandise, with a special Last One reward based on the upcoming movie Godzilla Minus Zero.

Ichiban Kuji is Bandai’s popular prize lottery format in which each purchased ticket guarantees a prize, with different tiers determining which item participants receive.

The selection covers everything from classic Showa-era monsters to more recent appearances in Shin Godzilla, Godzilla Minus One and its upcoming sequel.

Godzilla Minus Zero is the latest live-action movie from Toho and a direct continuation of the Academy Award-winning Godzilla Minus One, with director Takashi Yamazaki returning for another story set in post-war Japan.

  • A Prize: “Godzilla (2026) MONSTERLISE”

The main figure presents Godzilla’s updated appearance from Godzilla Minus Zero in a powerful upright stance, with sculpting by renowned kaiju artist Yuji Sakai.

Standing approximately 18 cm tall, it belongs to the Yuji Sakai Super Detailed Sculpting Collection, capturing the monster’s rugged skin, jagged dorsal fins and revised proportions.

  • B Prize: “Godzilla (2023) MONSTERLISE Heat Ray Emission Ver.”

Godzilla from the 2023 movie Godzilla Minus One is depicted with its jaws open and head raised as it prepares to unleash its devastating atomic breath.

The 18 cm figure features extended dorsal fins highlighted with blue-white coloring to represent the buildup of energy, with Yuji Sakai once again responsible for the sculpting and paintwork.

  • C Prize: “Godzilla (2016) Second Form MONSTERLISE”

This prize depicts Godzilla’s second evolutionary form from Shin Godzilla, affectionately known to fans as Kamata-kun after its destructive arrival in Tokyo’s Kamata district.

Measuring around 27 cm long, the figure is sculpted by specialist kaiju studio Kokuryu Kobo and captures the creature’s elongated body, underdeveloped limbs, vacant eyes and exposed gills.

  • D Prize: “Gigan (1972) MONSTERLISE”

Gigan joins the lineup in its original form from the 1972 movie Godzilla vs. Gigan, complete with hooked metallic claws, a red visor and the large circular saw built into its abdomen.

Kokuryu Kobo also produced this 18 cm-tall figure, preserving the cyborg monster’s classic Showa-era proportions and mechanical detailing.

  • E Prize: “Monster Head Magnets”

Five miniature magnets depict the heads of Godzilla (1992), Mothra (1992), SpaceGodzilla, Orga and Godzilla (2026), each measuring roughly 4 to 5 cm.

The Mothra and SpaceGodzilla versions use coloring drawn from illustrated movie posters, with all five variants distributed randomly.

  • F Prize: “ACLLECT -Godzilla vol.5-“

The fifth installment of Bandai’s ACLLECT acrylic series introduces ten miniature display pieces featuring kaiju from throughout the Godzilla franchise.

Each stands approximately 8.5 cm tall, with two secret designs hidden among the ten randomly distributed options.

  • G Prize: “Rubber Assortment”

Eleven varieties are available across several formats, ranging from Chibi Godzilla rubber charms to movie-logo stands and practical towel holders.

The items measure around 6 to 9 cm, with participants able to select their preferred option from those remaining at each location.

  • H Prize: “Clear File & Sticker Set”

Ten stationery sets combine A4 clear files with stickers measuring approximately 9 cm, displaying theatrical artwork, promotional illustrations and classic Godzilla logos.

Options include special magic clear files and artwork taken from original movie posters, with winners of this prize able to choose from the available selection.

  • Last One Prize: “Godzilla (2026) MONSTERLISE Heat Ray Emission Ver.”

The special final reward offers an alternate version of the A Prize’s Godzilla Minus Zero sculpt, featuring brightly colored dorsal fins that depict the monster charging its atomic breath.

Standing about 18 cm tall, this Yuji Sakai creation is awarded to the participant who purchases the final remaining ticket in a lottery allocation.

Bandai’s Double Chance campaign provides another opportunity to obtain the same figure, with 50 prizes available through a separate drawing running until the end of February 2027.

Bandai has also unveiled an upcoming “S.H.MonsterArts Godzilla (2026)” action figure from Godzilla Minus Zero, which uses the film’s official 3D production models as reference for Yuji Sakai’s sculpting and paintwork.

Shin Godzilla’s second form has also received attention through a separate Good Smile Company release, with pre-orders now open for the “Nendoroid Godzilla (2016) Second Form,” featuring Kamata-kun’s movable body sections and interchangeable accessories.

The “Ichiban Kuji Godzilla Kaiju Ranbu: Zero no Kodou” lottery will launch across Japan on November 13, 2026, with tickets priced at ¥850 each (approximately $5.40 USD / £4.05 GBP).

Sales locations include Lawson, Ministop, bookstores, hobby shops, selected drugstores, official Ichiban Kuji shops and Ichiban Kuji Online, with availability varying by location and prizes offered while supplies last.
