First Godzilla Minus Zero S.H.MonsterArts Figure Revealed by Bandai

A new version of Godzilla is making its way into Bandai’s S.H.MonsterArts lineup, with the company unveiling a detailed figure inspired by the upcoming film Godzilla Minus Zero.
Godzilla Minus Zero is the latest live-action Godzilla movie from legendary Japanese studio Toho and serves as the direct sequel to the Academy Award-winning Godzilla Minus One, continuing the story introduced in one of the franchise’s most celebrated modern entries.

The film is scheduled to premiere in November 2026, with its first trailer teasing the return of key characters from Godzilla Minus One alongside mysterious floating debris, dramatic destruction, and a striking shot of Godzilla standing beside the Statue of Liberty, leaving fans eager to discover where the story goes next.

Timed to coincide with the movie’s theatrical release, the new S.H.MonsterArts figure faithfully recreates Godzilla’s updated appearance using the film’s official 3D production models as reference.

The sculpting and paintwork have once again been handled by renowned kaiju artist Yuji Sakai, whose work has become synonymous with many of the line’s most acclaimed Godzilla releases.

Compared with the Godzilla Minus One version released in 2023, the new design features a noticeably more elongated physique, a longer neck profile, and even more aggressive dorsal fins that emphasize the monster’s imposing presence.

Its rough, heavily textured skin has also been carefully recreated to reflect the creature’s cinematic appearance while enhancing the figure’s realistic finish.

As expected from the S.H.MonsterArts series, the figure features an extensive range of articulation, allowing collectors to recreate a variety of dynamic poses inspired by the upcoming film.

Standing approximately 16 cm tall, the figure maintains the premium sculpting and engineering standards that have made S.H.MonsterArts a favorite among kaiju collectors.

The “S.H.MonsterArts Godzilla (2026)” is priced at ¥14,850 (approx. $101 USD / £74 GBP).

Pre-orders will open through general hobby retailers, such as HobbyLink Japan, from 4:00 PM JST on July 21, 2026.

The figure is scheduled to be released in November 2026, to coincide with the theatrical premiere of Godzilla Minus Zero.
