The “Official Resident Evil Tyrant T-002 Limited Edition Statue” recreates the Umbrella Corporation’s experimental bioweapon in an aggressive crouch, with its mutated right arm ending in an enormous claw.

Capcom’s Resident Evil first launched in 1996 and helped establish the survival horror genre, following members of the S.T.A.R.S. police unit as they investigate a series of gruesome murders in the Arklay Mountains before becoming trapped inside the Spencer Mansion.

Their investigation uncovers a secret underground laboratory operated by the Umbrella Corporation, where experiments involving the T-virus have produced dangerous biological weapons and other mutated creatures.
The Tyrant T-002 is encountered during the closing stages of the original game, revealing the results of Umbrella’s attempts to create a powerful humanoid bioweapon capable of following orders and eliminating enemies.

After escaping its containment chamber, the creature confronts the surviving S.T.A.R.S. members, eventually leading to a final battle in which players must survive long enough to defeat it with a rocket launcher.

Originally unveiled in February 2022, Numskull’s officially licensed statue was developed in collaboration with Capcom and stands approximately 27.6 cm tall.

The Tyrant’s exposed chest reveals its enormous heart, surrounded by raised veins and mutated muscle tissue that extend across its torso and limbs.

Its oversized right claw stretches almost to the ground as the monster leans forward, with the sculpt capturing the moment before it lunges towards its next victim.

The display base is modeled after the remains of the Tyrant’s laboratory containment tank, incorporating shattered glass details that reference its escape from Umbrella’s underground facility.

Hand-painted detailing adds definition to the creature’s pale skin, exposed tissue and grotesque mutations, with the statue presented in a fixed attack pose without interchangeable parts or additional accessories.

The Tyrant is part of Numskull’s Resident Evil Limited Edition range, which also includes the “Official Resident Evil Licker Limited Edition Statue”, another returning release based on the skinless monster from Resident Evil 2.

The renewed availability comes during Resident Evil’s 30th anniversary celebrations, which have also seen Capcom unveil a massive new Nemesis statue based on the Resident Evil 3 remake.

Standing approximately 43 cm tall, the Capcom Figure Builder release includes interchangeable arms and an additional head inspired by Nemesis’s original appearance in the 1999 PlayStation game.

Fans in Japan will also be able to visit THE WORLD OF BIOHAZARD 30th Anniversary Exhibition, which will run in Tokyo from October 30 through December 24, 2026, featuring immersive exhibits exploring the franchise’s history, behind-the-scenes material and exclusive commemorative merchandise.

The “Official Resident Evil Tyrant T-002 Limited Edition Statue” is now available to pre-order through Numskull’s official US store for $99.99 and their UK store for £79.99, with shipping currently expected to begin in November 2026.
