Image by James RichardsonKirby Café is getting ready for winter with a huge new seasonal menu built around a festive feast starring Kirby, Waddle Dee and Chef Kawasaki.
“Kirby Café WINTER 2026” will transform all three permanent Kirby Café locations with a “Winter Feast Party” theme, introducing four completely new dishes and drinks alongside returning seasonal favorites and exclusive merchandise.

Kirby Café is an official themed café inspired by the world of Kirby, serving character-themed food, desserts and drinks at locations in Tokyo, Osaka and Hakata.

The cafés regularly introduce limited seasonal menus and exclusive merchandise, with Kirby Café WINTER 2025 bringing its own lineup of winter burgers, warming dishes, desserts and knitted merchandise last year.

Kirby Café has continued changing its menu throughout 2026, including a Summer 2026 collection themed around the recovery items Kirby uses throughout his adventures.

This winter turns the café into a snowy feast, with Whispy Woods wearing a white cap of snow as Kirby, Waddle Dee and the other residents of Dream Land gather together for a seasonal party.

Four completely new menu items will headline the event:
- Kirby’s Inhale! Big Feast Roast – ¥2,618 (approximately $17 / £12)

Kirby opens his mouth ready to inhale a large serving of duck, accompanied by a salad where Waddle Dee can be found hiding among the vegetables.
- Chef Kawasaki’s Special Feast Risotto-Style Cream Rice – ¥2,233 (approximately $14 / £10)

Large shrimp, clams and colorful vegetables are arranged into a wreath around star-shaped turmeric rice, designed to be mixed together with a creamy sauce like a risotto.
- Winter-Ready Kirby’s Milk Tea Tiramisu – ¥2,838 with souvenir teacup / ¥1,848 without (approximately $18 / £13 or $12 / £9)

Kirby peeks out from a whipped-cream scarf above a milk tea-flavored tiramisu made with tea syrup-soaked sponge and crunchy almond praline, with the more expensive version including an exclusive WINTER 2026 teacup.

- Exciting☆Fizzy Sparkling – ¥2,288 with souvenir fork / ¥1,188 without (approximately $14 / £11 or $7 / £6)

A white grape soda is mixed with bright strawberry sauce, with an exclusive star-shaped souvenir fork included with the full set.

Several familiar Kirby Café dishes are also being given winter makeovers, including the Kirby Burger and Waddle Dee Burger served alongside “powder snow” cheese pasta.

Both burgers are priced at ¥3,630 (approximately $23 / £17) with a souvenir plate or ¥2,530 (approximately $16 / £12) without, with Tokyo and Hakata serving the standard Waddle Dee version while Osaka retains its location-exclusive okonomiyaki filling.

The Car Mouth Cake inspired by Kirby and the Forgotten Land also returns in its “Winter Horns” version, recreating the dessert seen at Waddle Dee Café in the game for ¥2,508 (approximately $16 / £12).

Kirby Café has previously expanded that same in-game dessert with a Star-Crossed World version of the Car Mouth Cake released alongside the Nintendo Switch 2 edition of Kirby and the Forgotten Land in 2025.

The café’s Art Collection Au Lait will also receive two WINTER-exclusive Kirby and Waddle Dee designs alongside a seasonal Creamy Caramel flavor, priced at ¥2,398 (approximately $15 / £11) with a souvenir mug or ¥1,518 (approximately $10 / £7) without.

A new takeaway drink titled “Kirby’s Snow Hot Chocolate ~Everyone’s Snowball Fight~” completes the food lineup, topping hot chocolate with marshmallow snowballs and a Kirby cookie for ¥1,058 (approximately $7 / £5).

An additional Waddle Dee cookie can be added for ¥238 (approximately $2 / £1), although the takeaway drink will only be available from the Tokyo and Hakata cafés.

Two new pieces of WINTER merchandise will also launch alongside the menu:

- WINTER Gloves Brown × Blue – ¥4,400 (approximately $28 / £21)

Cable-knit gloves finished in a milk-tea color with contrasting blue tags.
- WINTER Stole Scarf Brown × Blue – ¥6,380 (approximately $40 / £30)

A large brown-and-blue checked scarf measuring approximately 200 cm long.
Kirby Café has also expanded outside its restaurants through other collaborations, including a GU fashion collection inspired directly by the café that brought its artwork and food-focused world into apparel and accessories.

“Kirby Café WINTER 2026” will run at Kirby Café TOKYO, OSAKA and HAKATA from November 11, 2026 through March 2, 2027, with the new WINTER merchandise also going on sale when the event begins.
Kirby Café operates on a reservation-priority basis, with bookings available through the official café website.
