Numskull Designs has reopened pre-orders for its official Resident Evil Licker statue, giving fans another chance to own a detailed recreation of one of the survival horror series’ most terrifying monsters.

The “Official Resident Evil Licker Limited Edition Statue” captures the creature in its signature hunting pose, with an exposed brain, extended tongue and razor-sharp claws sculpted across its mutated body.

Resident Evil first launched in 1996 and helped establish the survival horror genre, challenging players to survive outbreaks caused by the Umbrella Corporation’s dangerous biological experiments.

The Licker made its debut in Resident Evil 2 in 1998, stalking the corridors of the Raccoon City Police Department as Leon S. Kennedy and Claire Redfield attempted to escape the city’s devastating zombie outbreak.

Unlike ordinary zombies, Lickers have undergone further mutations that leave their brains exposed and their bodies transformed into powerful creatures capable of crawling across walls and ceilings.

Although they have lost their eyesight, their heightened hearing allows them to detect even small movements, making stealth an important part of avoiding encounters with them.

For this statue, Numskull Designs has recreated the Licker’s low-crawling stance, with all four limbs spread wide and its enormous claws extended as though preparing to attack.

The creature’s skinless body has been sculpted with exposed muscle tissue and other anatomical details, while its elongated tongue stretches out from an open mouth filled with sharp teeth.

Hand-painted detailing brings additional definition to the Licker’s mutations, with the figure positioned on a display base designed to complement its appearance.

Standing approximately 16.5 cm tall, the statue was developed in collaboration with Capcom and originally unveiled in March 2022 as part of Numskull’s Resident Evil Limited Edition range.

The collection also includes a matching “Official Resident Evil Tyrant T-002 Limited Edition Statue”, which recreates the mutated final boss from the original Resident Evil with its enormous claw and exposed chest.
