Square Enix Opens US Pre-Orders for Final Fantasy XIV’s Huge Evercold Collector’s Goods Box

Square Enix has officially opened US pre-orders for Final Fantasy XIV’s huge new Evercold Collector’s Goods Box, offering fans an exclusive collection based on the MMORPG’s next major expansion.
Final Fantasy XIV is Square Enix’s long-running online role-playing game, with players creating their own Warrior of Light and exploring an expanding story that has grown through multiple major expansions since A Realm Reborn relaunched the game in 2013.

Evercold will become its next major expansion in February 2027, beginning the new Godless Realms Saga and taking players into the Fourth alongside two new jobs, Bastion and Zephyr.
Square Enix confirmed the expansion’s February release date and revealed Zephyr during Final Fantasy XIV Fan Festival 2026 in Tokyo, following a year that also produced a huge new range of official Fan Festival merchandise spanning figures, apparel, fragrances, plush toys, music and accessories.

The “FINAL FANTASY XIV: Evercold Collector’s Goods Box” contains five items inspired by Evercold and its new setting:
- Evercold Special Art Box

A large presentation box measuring approximately 38 × 27.5 × 22.5 cm and featuring Evercold artwork by legendary Final Fantasy artist Yoshitaka Amano.
- Expertly Crafted Reaper Figure

The centerpiece of the collection recreates the Warrior of Light as a Reaper in a detailed battle pose, measuring approximately 21 × 23 × 18.5 cm.
- Ethos Metal Keychain

A metal recreation of Ethos measuring approximately 16.5 × 3 × 2 cm.
- Köttr Mini Plush

The new creature is recreated as an approximately 16 cm-tall plush with an attached hook for displaying or carrying it.
- Tapestry of the Fourth

A fabric tapestry measuring approximately 16 × 47 cm and based on the setting at the center of Evercold’s new adventure.
It’s important to note, however, that the set contains the merchandise only and does not include a copy of Final Fantasy XIV: Evercold, its Digital Collector’s Edition items, or standard expansion pre-order bonuses.

Players who want both the physical collection and the expansion can instead purchase the limited Collector’s Bundle through the Square Enix Store, although the included Digital Collector’s Edition code is specifically for the Windows or Mac versions of the game.
PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch 2 and Steam players can buy the Collector’s Goods Box separately before purchasing the Digital Collector’s Edition through their respective platform stores.

The Digital Collector’s Edition includes three account-wide in-game bonuses: the Valhallar Odin Mount inspired by Final Fantasy XIII’s Odin, the Entreat Crystal emote and the Crystal Skyltborg weapon for the new Bastion job.
Evercold will also form part of Square Enix’s wider Final Fantasy 40th Anniversary Exhibition, which will look ahead to the expansion alongside revisiting four decades of games when it opens in Tokyo in January 2027.
