Hello Kitty’s Limited-Edition Sony Headphone Collab Gets Official US Release
Image by James RichardsonSony has officially brought its first Hello Kitty collaboration to the US, opening pre-orders for a new selection of limited-edition headphones accompanied by exclusive Sanrio accessories.
The US collection spans Sony’s premium WH-1000XM6, mid-range WH-CH730N and more affordable WH-CH530 wireless headphones, with each bundle including an original Hello Kitty headphone pouch and matching tote bag.

Sony and Sanrio first launched their official Hello Kitty collaboration in Japan last month, pairing the WH-CH730N with exclusive character accessories while also offering a separate Xperia 10 VIII smartphone bundle.

At the top of the collection is the Hello Kitty Limited Edition WH-1000XM6, priced at $519.99, with Sony offering its flagship wireless noise-cancelling headphones in both Black and Sand Pink.

Each version retains the standard model’s adaptive noise cancellation, 12-microphone system and up to 30 hours of battery life while adding the exclusive Hello Kitty pouch and tote.

The Hello Kitty Limited Edition WH-CH730N, priced at $224.99, provides the middle option with Dual Noise Sensor noise cancellation, Ambient Sound controls, DSEE audio processing and support for 360 Reality Audio.

Sony is offering the collaboration version in Black, again paired with the character-themed headphone pouch and matching tote bag.

The most affordable release is the Hello Kitty Limited Edition WH-CH530, priced at $104.99, which swaps active noise cancellation for a lighter everyday design and offers up to 55 hours of battery life.

Sony has chosen Pink for this version, pairing the softer color with the same collaboration accessories included across the collection.

The broader US selection gives fans considerably more choice than the Japanese headphone release, which centered specifically on the WH-CH730N and allowed buyers to select from five standard headphone colors while keeping the included Hello Kitty accessories unchanged.

The Japanese collaboration was limited to 1,000 sets for each of its two bundles, although Sony has not currently published an equivalent US production limit for the new headphone lineup.

Pre-orders for the Sony × Hello Kitty Limited Edition headphones are now open directly through Sony’s US online store.
Sony currently estimates delivery between November 18 and 19 for the WH-1000XM6, while the WH-CH730N and WH-CH530 are expected to begin arriving between December 3 and 4.
