Danganronpa Announces First-Ever Wendy’s Collab Featuring Exclusive Menu and Merch

Danganronpa is teaming up with Wendy’s First Kitchen for the first time, bringing characters from all three main games together for themed food, drinks and an extensive collection of exclusive merchandise.
The new “Danganronpa Series × Wendy’s First Kitchen” collaboration will appear across the chain with a limited lime-chili fries flavor and Super Danganronpa 2 clear files, while five flagship locations will expand the campaign with character-themed burgers, nuggets, drinks and collectible goods.

Wendy’s First Kitchen combines the US-born Wendy’s brand with Japanese fast-food chain First Kitchen, operating around 75 restaurants across Japan with a menu that includes burgers, pasta, flavored fries and desserts.

The collaboration uses newly created chibi artwork featuring the Ultimate students from Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc, Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair and Danganronpa V3: Killing Harmony alongside series mascots Monokuma and Monomi.

Danganronpa passed 10 million cumulative shipments worldwide as the franchise marked its 15th anniversary in 2025, with those celebrations continuing through the ongoing Danganronpa 15th Anniversary Exhibition featuring artwork, development materials, punishment archives and a Monokuma mystery game.

The series is also preparing to return to Jabberwock Island with Danganronpa 2×2, which combines a rebuilt version of Goodbye Despair with a completely new alternate killing game where victims, culprits and murder tricks can change from the original story.

As part of the new collaboration, every participating Wendy’s First Kitchen and First Kitchen restaurant, excluding racetrack locations, will offer a new lime-chili flavor for the chain’s signature fries, priced at ¥390 for medium (approximately $2.50 / £2), ¥440 for large (approximately $3 / £2) or ¥800 for a box portion (approximately $5 / £4).
A separate ¥880 (approximately $6 / £4) collaboration set pairs any medium flavored fries with one randomly selected A4 clear file from eight designs featuring artwork from Super Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair.

Five flagship restaurants will take the collaboration further with a dedicated character menu and exclusive decorations, beginning with two ¥1,400 (approximately $9 / £7) food items that play directly on the roles of Danganronpa’s leads.
The “Protagonist Burger” is topped with flags featuring Makoto Naegi, Hajime Hinata and Kaede Akamatsu, while the “Heroine Nuggets” are served with flags of Kyoko Kirigiri, Chiaki Nanami and Shuichi Saihara alongside a mentaiko mayonnaise sauce.

Six character drinks will also be available for ¥1,000 each (approximately $6 / £5).

- Byakuya Togami Café Latte Tapioca
- Chihiro Fujisaki Matcha Latte Float
- Nagito Komaeda Melon Soda Float

- Kazuichi Soda Mixed Juice Tapioca

Each flagship-exclusive collaboration menu item comes with one random original coaster, with customers able to choose whether their coaster is drawn from Danganronpa’s 17 designs, Super Danganronpa 2’s 17 designs or Danganronpa V3’s 16 designs before receiving a random character from that group.

Purchasing a collaboration menu item at one of the five flagship restaurants will also provide access to an order sheet for the event’s exclusive merchandise collection.

- Trading Can Badges – ¥550 each (approximately $3.50 / £3)

Separate blind assortments are available for Danganronpa, Super Danganronpa 2 and Danganronpa V3, with 17 designs in each of the first two collections and 16 for V3, alongside complete sets priced at ¥9,350 for the first two games and ¥8,800 for V3.

- Trading Acrylic Stands – ¥990 each (approximately $6 / £5)

The same 17, 17 and 16-character structure is used for the acrylic stands, with complete sets priced at ¥16,830 for Danganronpa and Super Danganronpa 2 and ¥15,840 for Danganronpa V3.

- Trading Aurora Cards – ¥660 each (approximately $4 / £3)

All three games receive their own holographic-style card assortments, with complete sets priced at ¥11,220 for Danganronpa and Super Danganronpa 2 and ¥10,560 for Danganronpa V3.

- B6 Acrylic Sticker Set – ¥2,750 each (approximately $17 / £13)

Three designs complete the merchandise range, with one set dedicated to each of the three main Danganronpa games.
The new Wendy’s First Kitchen collaboration follows another major 2026 merchandise release that brought the same three-game cast together through the “Angels and Devils” collection, featuring original artwork across badges, acrylic stands and other character goods.

Danganronpa also recently teamed up with Sanrio for a major collaboration featuring new artwork by illustrator Kei Mochizuki, pairing characters from all three games with Hello Kitty, Kuromi, Cinnamoroll, My Melody and other Sanrio favorites across an extensive merchandise collection.
