P-Bandai US Drops Final Wave of Gunpla Kits for Gundam Summer Fest 2026

Premium Bandai US has released the final wave of Gunpla for Gundam Summer Fest 2026, adding another 12 kits to an event that has already brought a large selection of Gundam Base exclusives, returning Premium Bandai releases, and special-finish models to US collectors.

The final drop went live on August 14 and covers everything from comparatively affordable HG kits to a titanium-finished Wing Gundam Zero EW Ver.Ka, with three models available immediately and the remainder offered as pre-orders shipping between September 2026 and February 2027.

Several of the strongest additions come directly from The Gundam Base lineup, including clear-color MG versions of Gundam Virtue and Gundam Exia alongside the distinctive neon-green Recirculation Color RX-78-2 Gundam Ver.3.0.

The final wave also gives Gundam Wing collectors one of its biggest premium-finish releases in the form of the MG Wing Gundam Zero EW Ver.Ka [Titanium Finish], while the HG Moon Gundam returns with its Long Rifle equipment and the MG Zaku Warrior receives its colorful Live Concert appearance.

Universal Century fans have plenty to choose from as well, with the Crossbone Gundam X0 Ver.Ka, Full Frontal’s Geara Doga, two Jesta Shezarr Type configurations, and the 21st Century Real Type Zaku II all included in the closing lineup.

The two clear-color Master Grades provide some of the most immediate appeal, with both Gundam Virtue and Gundam Exia replacing much of their familiar solid armor with transparent parts that expose more of the internal structure beneath.

Gundam Virtue is particularly striking due to the sheer amount of clear armor surrounding its bulky frame, while the slimmer Gundam Exia creates a very different effect across its blue, white, red, and transparent exterior.

The RX-78-2 Gundam Ver.3.0 [Recirculation Color/Neon Green] takes a more dramatic approach, replacing the first Gundam’s traditional colors with a predominantly black finish highlighted by vivid neon-green parts as part of Bandai’s Recirculation Color series.

For collectors looking for something considerably more premium, the Wing Gundam Zero EW Ver.Ka [Titanium Finish] uses a metallic treatment across its armor while retaining the large feathered wings, Twin Buster Rifle, transformation features, and detailed Ver.Ka construction of the standard Master Grade.

The Moon Gundam is another standout despite being an HG, combining one of the grade’s most highly regarded modern builds with the large Psycho Plate mounted around its back and the additional Long Rifle that distinguishes this Gundam Base edition.

Meanwhile, the Zaku Warrior Live Concert Ver. recreates the unusually colorful machine associated with Lacus Clyne’s concert performance, making it one of the more unconventional Master Grade releases included in the event.

The later-shipping selections broaden the wave beyond Gundam Base variants, with the silver Crossbone Gundam X0 Ver.Ka providing another chance to secure one of the more unusual Crossbone Master Grades and Full Frontal’s Geara Doga bringing the Sleeves commander’s red mobile suit back for another release.

The two Jesta Shezarr Type kits divide the specialist equipment used by the different Narrative teams between separate releases, giving collectors the option of Team A’s equipment or the Team B&C configuration.

This final wave of releases also arrives while Premium Bandai US is still running its free-shipping promotion, which applies to qualifying in-stock purchases and pre-orders of $99 or more.

That makes the closing wave particularly useful for anyone considering several of the cheaper kits together, as combinations such as Gundam Exia and Moon Gundam or multiple HG and MG pre-orders will push an order over the qualifying threshold without requiring one of the event’s more expensive premium releases.
