Sanrio’s Adorable New Cherry Blossom Fairies Collection Arrives in the US

Sanrio has released a new line of cherry blossom themed merch through its official US store, transforming Hello Kitty, Kuromi, My Melody, Cinnamoroll and more into pastel-colored fairies inspired by Japan’s sakura season.

The “Cherry Blossom Fairies Series” uses soft monochromatic color schemes across the characters, combining cherry blossom decorations with matching outfits, bows, flower ornaments, fairy wings and other spring-inspired details.

Alongside Hello Kitty, Kuromi, My Melody and Cinnamoroll, the range gives My Sweet Piano and Bonbonribbon prominent roles, adding two characters that appear less frequently in the larger merch collections released by Sanrio.

The assortment covers larger plushes, smaller bean dolls, plush mascot keychains, multi-piece bag charms and a character tote bag, allowing the same sakura fairy theme to run across several different types of merchandise.
