A new TIGER & BUNNY exhibition has been officially announced, celebrating the partnership between Kotetsu T. Kaburagi and Barnaby Brooks Jr. by revisiting some of the most important moments in their story.

Titled “TIGER & BUNNY Special Exhibition: Always Partners,” the event will take place at Tokyo Anime Center in Shibuya, exploring how the relationship between the two superheroes developed across both anime series.

Originally airing in 2011, TIGER & BUNNY introduced viewers to a world where superheroes known as NEXT use their extraordinary abilities to fight crime, with their activities broadcast as entertainment through the popular television program HERO TV.

The story followed veteran superhero Kotetsu T. Kaburagi, better known as Wild Tiger, who was reluctantly partnered with the younger Barnaby Brooks Jr., a talented but initially difficult hero whose approach to crimefighting frequently clashed with his new teammate.

Despite their contrasting personalities, the two gradually developed a close friendship, becoming one of the franchise’s central relationships as they confronted increasingly dangerous threats.

Their story continued in TIGER & BUNNY 2, which premiered in 2022 and reunited the pair alongside returning characters and a new generation of superheroes.

The upcoming exhibition will focus specifically on the moments that changed Kotetsu and Barnaby’s relationship, revisiting scenes from the original TIGER & BUNNY anime through to its sequel.

According to the organizers, the displays will encourage visitors to reconsider the characters’ expressions and dialogue during important encounters, exploring how their feelings toward one another evolved throughout the story.

The event will therefore cover both major chapters of the anime, offering fans an opportunity to revisit the partnership that has remained at the heart of TIGER & BUNNY since its debut.

Tokyo Anime Center has also confirmed an accompanying merchandise store, although the exhibition’s specific displays, product lineup and any exclusive collectibles have not yet been revealed.

Details of potential admission bonuses are also expected to be announced at a later date.
