BLEACH Reveals 3 New Tite Kubo Designed Soul Reapers for MIRRORS HIGH

Bandai Namco Entertainment has shared a fresh look at BLEACH Mirrors High, introducing three brand-new Soul Reapers alongside a new trailer that offers the clearest look yet at the upcoming smartphone game’s story, customization features and combat system.
BLEACH, created by Tite Kubo, is one of the most influential shonen manga and anime series of the past two decades, following Ichigo Kurosaki as he gains the powers of a Soul Reaper and becomes caught in battles that span both the human world and the Soul Society.

Rather than retelling familiar events from the anime, BLEACH Mirrors High features an original storyline set after the Thousand-Year Blood War arc, placing players in the role of a newly recruited Soul Reaper as they experience life within the Gotei 13.

The game’s two selectable protagonists are Shirin Migishima and Shirane Sanari, who will lead players through this brand-new story created exclusively for the game.

The latest reveal introduces three rookie Soul Reapers joining the cast, with Naru Jurinna, Giro Hando and Maiko Tokishima all receiving original character designs created by BLEACH creator Tite Kubo.

The newly announced characters will be voiced by Fuuka Izumi, Shogo Batori and Yuu Shinohara respectively.
A newly released system trailer also showcases several of the game’s core mechanics, including story scenes illustrated with original artwork and a range of character customization options.
Players will be able to personalize their protagonist by changing their appearance, name and even their Zanpakutō, allowing each player’s Soul Reaper to feel unique throughout the adventure.

Combat revolves around building a team of three characters and combining different cards to unleash a variety of attacks, with each fighter having their own signature special move alongside a powerful three-person Soul Drive combination attack.

BLEACH Mirrors High will be released as a free-to-play smartphone game for the App Store and Google Play, although Bandai Namco Entertainment has not yet announced a launch date.
