Kaigaku set to join Demon Slayer: Hinokami Chronicles 2 as first “Infinity Castle Arc” DLC
Aniplex has announced that the first paid downloadable content for the game Demon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba- The Hinokami Chronicles 2 will be the “Kaigaku” Character Pack, scheduled for release on Thursday, the 30th of October.
Kaigaku is the new Upper Rank Six of the Twelve Kizuki, who took the position after Gytaro and Daki. He will be available as a playable character in the Versus Mode.
This character pack is the first of seven planned releases for the “‘Infinity Castle Arc Part 1’ Character Pass.”
The full Character Pass, which is also available for purchase, will eventually unlock all seven characters as they are released.
The full lineup for the Character Pass includes:
- Tanjiro Kamado (Infinity Castle Arc)
- Zenitsu Agatsuma (Infinity Castle Arc)
- Giyu Tomioka (Infinity Castle Arc)
- Shinobu Kocho (Infinity Castle Arc)
- Doma
- Akaza (Infinity Castle Arc)
- Kaigaku
To celebrate the announcement, a new character introduction video for Kaigaku has been released.
A special “Play Report” video will also be released on the 29th of October, featuring Akari Kito (the voice of Nezuko Kamado) and special guest Hiro Shimono (the voice of Zenitsu Agatsuma), who will be showing off Kaigaku’s gameplay for the first time.
The “Kaigaku” Character Pack is priced at ¥550 (approx. $3.70 USD / £3.00 GBP).
The full “‘Infinity Castle Arc Part 1’ Character Pass,” which includes Kaigaku and the six upcoming characters, is priced at ¥2,970 (approx. $20 USD / £16 GBP).
Demon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba- The Hinokami Chronicles 2 is currently available for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and Steam.
