Trine 6: Together in Time Brings Five Heroes Together This September
Publisher Cooldown Games and developer Frozenbyte have officially revealed Trine 6: Together in Time, the next entry in the long-running puzzle-platforming series.
The side-scrolling fantasy adventure is scheduled to arrive on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store.
The story introduces two new protagonists, Moira and Adrius, whose attempted theft goes disastrously wrong and unexpectedly intertwines their destinies with those of the realm’s most celebrated heroes.
After becoming entangled in events far larger than themselves, the pair joins forces with returning series characters Amadeus, Zoya, and Pontius to confront a growing magical crisis.
Their journey takes them across dangerous regions of a fantasy kingdom as they attempt to restore unstable magic before a powerful warlock catches up to reclaim what belongs to him.
Puzzle design in Trine 6 places a strong emphasis on cooperative play, encouraging participants to coordinate abilities and work together to solve environmental challenges.
Unlike more restrictive puzzle systems, every challenge can be completed using any playable character, allowing players to select heroes based on personal preference rather than mandatory requirements.
