Official Evangelion Racing Team to Take Part in Japan’s Top Motorcycle Endurance Race
Evangelion Racing has officially announced a new motorsport collaboration with the AutoRace Ube Racing Team to compete in the 46th FIM Endurance World Championship Coca-Cola Suzuka 8 Hours Endurance Road Race.
The AutoRace Ube Racing Team Eva RT Unit-01 BMW serves as the main racing machine for this high-octane partnership.
This striking motorcycle is heavily based on the powerful BMW M1000RR and features a custom purple and green livery designed to perfectly match the iconic anime mecha piloted by Shinji Ikari.
The joint squad is determined to capture a spot on the podium after the AutoRace Ube crew successfully secured a third-place finish in the EWC class last year, where Evangelion Racing entered a Unit 02-themed motorcycle.
To pilot the specialized bike, the organization has assembled a formidable roster of riders consisting of Naomichi Uramoto, Sylvain Guintoli, and Hannes Soomer.
This powerful trio recently proved their skills on the track by achieving a strong fifth-place finish at the opening round of the EWC series in Le Mans, France.
Run’a Entertainment originally established Evangelion Racing back in April 2010 through a promotional tie-up with the Rebuild of Evangelion theatrical film series.
The motorsport branch was created to bring the striking aesthetic of the anime to major domestic competitions, including both the SUPER GT four-wheel series and the grueling Suzuka 8 Hours two-wheel event.
Fans attending the massive motorsport gathering will be greeted by the official Eva Racing Circuit Mates, with Reika Fujishiro, Momo Watagawa, and Runa Yukino appearing at the track to build excitement and cheer on the crew.
Since its initial formation, Evangelion Racing has adopted a unique individual sponsorship system that allows the team to conduct its racing activities with direct support from dedicated fans.
To back their effort in the endurance race, fans can choose from three different supporter packages offering exclusive perks and merchandise:

A mid-level bundle that includes all base tier rewards alongside a 2026 team cap, the official collaboration team T-shirt, and a branded towel.

- Price: 100,000 yen (approx. $640 USD / £500 GBP)
The ultimate backing tier provides all physical goods from lower tiers, alongside an exclusive commemorative trophy and a highly coveted Hospitality Lounge Pass granting a special pit tour experience on race day.
In addition to the supporter packages, a dedicated merchandise booth will be set up directly inside the GP Square at the Suzuka Circuit for the duration of the race weekend.
Attendees can pick up exclusive team goods, including a limited-edition T-shirt celebrating the specific race.

The 2026 FIM Endurance World Championship Coca-Cola Suzuka 8 Hours Endurance Road Race is scheduled to run from Friday, July 3 to Sunday, July 5, 2026.
Applications for the individual sponsorship plans officially opened to the public online on Wednesday, June 10, 2026.
