Gundam x Sgt. Frog Collab Announced With Exclusive Gunpla Kit and Artwork
Bandai Namco has officially announced a massive new collaboration between Sgt. Frog and Mobile Suit Gundam to celebrate an upcoming animated theatrical premiere.
This celebratory crossover introduces two new model kits, the Keroro Robo Mk-II (Titans Color) and the RG RX-178 Gundam Mk-II (Keroro Specification), alongside custom artwork and animated cameos.
The exciting partnership was established to commemorate the highly anticipated release of “New Theatrical Movie Sgt. Frog: Upon Revival, Immediately Facing the Threat of Earth’s Destruction!”.
To honor the historic connection between the two titles, legendary Gundam character designer and animation director Yoshikazu Yasuhiko has contributed a special piece of promotional artwork for the event.
His exclusive illustration depicts the iconic pilots Amuro Ray and Char Aznable standing side-by-side with Keroro, linking arms together in a cheerful display of intergalactic friendship.
In return for this gesture, Sgt. Frog creator Mine Yoshizaki has drawn a series of tribute illustrations to further celebrate the crossover.
These detailed posters serve as direct artistic homages to the classic visual artwork originally used to promote the Mobile Suit Gundam theatrical compilation trilogy.
Audiences attending the screening of “New Theatrical Movie Sgt. Frog: Upon Revival, Immediately Facing the Threat of Earth’s Destruction!” will also be treated to spectacular in-universe crossover sequences on the big screen.

For fans looking to physically recreate the magic themselves, the following plastic models will be released:
- Keroro Robo Mk-II (Titans Color)
A custom version of the Keroro Robo Mk-II painted in the dark blue colors of the Titans faction.
- RG RX-178 Gundam Mk-II (Keroro Specification)
A Real Grade version of the famous mobile suit featuring custom decals and specific coloring to match the alien invader.
New Theatrical Movie Sgt. Frog: Upon Revival, Immediately Facing the Threat of Earth’s Destruction! is officially scheduled to premiere nationwide in Japan on Friday, June 26, 2026.
The collaborative Keroro Robo Mk-II (Titans Color) model kit will be available for purchase exclusively at participating screening theaters starting on the opening day, June 26.
Meanwhile, the RG RX-178 Gundam Mk-II (Keroro Specification) Gunpla kit will be available through the Premium Bandai online store at a later, as yet unannounced, date.
