Ex Sanguis Enters Early Access May 21

Ex Sanguis EA Date

Publisher Firesquid and developer Lightbulb Crew announced on April 2, 2026, that the turn-based strategy game Ex Sanguis will debut in Early Access via Steam on May 21, 2026.

This initial version for PC is designed to be fully playable and includes core gameplay features that provide several hours of content for players to explore.

The development team anticipates that the title will remain in Early Access for at least six months, though this timeframe could shift depending on community feedback and the pace of development.

The game challenges players to lead elite warriors known as Stillae to save a dying world from the forces of Stasis and restore the flow of life.

Tactical combat involves dynamic turn-based mechanics where players can use Timeline Effects to manipulate turn order or leverage environmental hazards like explosions and sight-blocking objects.

As a roguelite experience, the game features procedural levels and random skill drops that allow for unique character synergies during every run.

Progress is maintained even after failed missions, allowing players to gather resources and tackle high-risk encounters at their own pace.

Future updates leading to the full release will aim to introduce improved balancing, new game modes, and additional polished content to the experience.
