Gibson to Release Real-Life Replica of Ikuyo Kita’s Les Paul Jr. from Bocchi the Rock!
Guitar manufacturer Gibson has announced a new official collaboration with “Bocchi the Rock!” to release two limited edition real-life replicas of the guitar used by Ikuyo Kita in the hit 2022 anime series.
The “Ikuyo Kita Model Gibson Les Paul Jr.” and “Ikuyo Kita Model Epiphone Inspired by Gibson Custom Les Paul Jr. “ recreate the cheerful guitarist’s signature instrument in stunning detail.
The immensely popular musical anime follows the journey of Kessoku Band as they grow together as musicians and friends.
This exciting new release follows a similar collaboration back in October 2025 when Yamaha released a similar replica of the PACIFICA611V electric guitar used by the show’s protagonist, Hitori “Bocchi” Gotoh.
Now, fans have the opportunity to acquire the iconic double-cutaway instrument utilized by Kessoku Band’s guitarist and vocalist, Ikuyo Kita.
Two different models will be available to accommodate the

- Price: 250,000 yen (approx. $1,650 USD / £1,300 GBP) excluding tax
This high-end model is finished in a beautiful Pelham Blue and features a slim taper neck.
Production is strictly limited to only 200 sets worldwide.
- Ikuyo Kita Model Epiphone Inspired by Gibson Custom Les Paul Jr. Price: 150,000 yen (approx. $990 USD / £780 GBP) excluding tax
This accessible premium model features an Antique Pelham Blue finish and a modern medium C neck.
Production is strictly limited to only 600 sets worldwide.
Both of these impressive guitars feature an open-book headstock, a rosewood fingerboard, a wraparound bridge, and a dogear P-90 bridge pickup.
Each also comes with a branded hard case, a special dual-branded PU leather gig bag, an exclusive guitar strap, and an acrylic display stand.
Because of the highly limited production numbers, sales of both guitars are being handled by a special lottery system.
Fans can submit their applications starting on Tuesday, April 7, 2026, through Tuesday, April 21, 2026.
Successful applicants will be notified of their winning results by Thursday, April 30, 2026.
