New Trailer Confirms Hanaori-san Still Wants To Fight In The Next Life Premieres July 2026 and Confirms Cast Details

The upcoming television anime adaptation of Hanaori-san Still Wants to Fight in the Next Life revealed a new trailer and key visual during a stage event at Pony Canyon’s AnimeJapan 2026 booth on March 28, 2026.
The series is officially scheduled to begin its broadcast in July 2026.

The story follows Narukami Ryusei, a former demon king living as a NEET, who discovers the hero who once defeated him has also been reincarnated as a high school girl.
Eight new cast members were announced to join lead actors Jun Fukuyama, who voices Ryusei, and Akira Sekine, who voices Meteor.
The additional cast includes Seena Hoshiki as Mako Satsuki, Hitomi Ueda as Marika Nagamori, Sora Tokui as Mana Kuraishi, and Nene Hieda as Minto Takigawa.
Rounding out the new announcements are Rie Takahashi as Ayame Takanashi, Hiromi Igarashi as Eriko Asahina, Ayasa Ito as Moe Narukami, and Yoko Hikasa as Sakura Rokudo.
Hideyo Yamamoto is directing the project at studio LIDEN FILMS with Yukie Sugawara handling series composition.
Yosuke Okuda is providing the character designs, while the musical score is being composed by Yukari Hashimoto and Ryuta Iida.
The original manga by Hekiru Hikawa has been serialized in Kodansha’s Monthly Morning Two since August 2021 and has nine volumes released in Japan as of March 2026.
Seven Seas Entertainment holds the English license for the manga and plans to release the first translated version in October 2026.
