Naruto Mobile Worldwide Release Officially Announced at NYCC 2026

Naruto’s long-running smartphone action game is finally coming to players around the world, nearly a decade after its original release in China.
“Naruto Mobile,” the competitive action game that first launched in mainland China in 2016, has officially been confirmed for a worldwide release during the “NARUTO: What’s Next?” presentation at New York Comic Con 2026 on October 10.

The announcement was accompanied by the world premiere of a new teaser trailer, offering international fans their first official preview of the game’s upcoming global release.
“Naruto Mobile” has remained popular in China since its original debut, allowing players to bring together numerous shinobi from across the franchise’s history for dream battles.

The upcoming worldwide release will give fans outside China the opportunity to experience the game, which brings together characters from different generations of the Naruto series.
Created by Masashi Kishimoto, Naruto originally began serialization in Weekly Shonen Jump in 1999 before receiving its first television anime adaptation in 2002, followed by Naruto Shippuden in 2007.

The franchise has since expanded into numerous console and smartphone games, allowing fans to revisit its characters, major battles, and ninja techniques through a variety of different gameplay styles.
The worldwide release of “Naruto Mobile” was just one of several major announcements made during the New York Comic Con panel, which took place on Naruto Uzumaki’s birthday and was broadcast globally through the official Naruto/Boruto YouTube channel.

The presentation also revealed an unexpected new Naruto anime crossover with the classic ninja series “Ninku,” originally created by Koji Kiriyama.

The upcoming limited series was introduced through a world-premiere trailer that included a statement from Kishimoto acknowledging the enormous influence Ninku had on his work, declaring that without Ninku, there would be no Naruto.

Ninku originally began serialization in Weekly Shonen Jump in 1993 and later received a television anime adaptation from Studio Pierrot in 1995, several years before the same studio began producing Naruto.

Another major announcement confirmed that Bandai’s upcoming “NARUTO CARD GAME” will officially launch worldwide in June 2027, with a new teaser trailer and additional details about its first products.

Three starter decks featuring Naruto (ST01), Sasuke (ST02) and Gaara (ST03) will be available at launch, alongside the first booster set, “Enter: NARUTO UZUMAKI!,” which will feature new illustrations based on both the original Naruto anime and Naruto Shippuden.

The panel concluded with another surprise, as Kishimoto announced a brand-new Naruto manga titled “Shadow Rising,” with further details scheduled to be revealed at Jump Festa Super Stage 2027.

As for “Naruto Mobile,” an exact worldwide release date has yet to be confirmed, with additional information scheduled to be announced at Jump Festa 2027 and further updates shared through the game’s official social media channels.
