HoYoverse has officially confirmed the opening date and location of Genshin Impact’s first permanent cafe in Japan, unveiling new artwork and a teaser video as the highly anticipated venue prepares to welcome fans of its hugely popular online RPG.

The new “Genshin CAFE” will offer players a dedicated space inspired by the world of Teyvat, built around the concept of “A Detour Along the Journey”, with the new artwork showing Aether, Lumine and Paimon relaxing together around a cafe table surrounded by colorful decorations and floating Slime-shaped balloons.

The game has become one of HoYoverse’s most successful franchises, expanding through regular updates that introduce new regions, storylines and playable characters across PlayStation, Xbox, PC and mobile platforms.

HoYoverse originally announced plans for Japan’s first permanent Genshin Impact cafe during the game’s sixth anniversary celebrations in September 2026, confirming that a dedicated location would open somewhere in Tokyo the following year.

These have included a special Genshin Impact collaboration with Baskin-Robbins Japan in September 2026, which introduced themed ice cream products, exclusive merchandise and digital rewards featuring characters such as Flins and Linnea.
