Fist Of The North Star Short Anime Cour 2 July Release Announced

The official website for the short anime series Elegy for the Henchmen: Fist of the North Star has confirmed that the second cour of the production is scheduled to premiere in July 2026.

The announcement was accompanied by a promotional video shared on the official X account on March 23, 2026, featuring voice actor Hiro Shimono offering his support to Shunsuke Takeuchi.

Hiro Shimono, known for his role as Zenitsu Agatsuma in Demon Slayer, provides the voice for the protagonist Nobu, while Shunsuke Takeuchi is set to voice Kenshiro in a separate upcoming Fist of the North Star remake anime.

The Fist of the North Star remake mentioned in the social media post is currently slated to debut in Japan on April 10, 2026.

The first cour of Elegy for the Henchmen consisted of 12 episodes, which originally aired between January 5, 2026, and March 23, 2026.

This comedic spin-off is based on the manga illustrated by Hiroshi Kurao, which was serialized in the Manga Hot app from November 2017 until February 2020 and collected into three volumes.

The narrative focuses on the character Nobu as he navigates the various hazards and workplace challenges associated with being a low-level soldier in the Ken-Oh Army.

In addition to Shimono, the voice cast features Shinnosuke Ogami as Zaku, Masaaki Yano as Buzz, and Shinya Takahashi providing the narration for the series.
