Lycoris Recoil’s New PUMA Collab Features Sneakers Inspired by Chisato and Takina

A new collaboration between Lycoris Recoil and global sportswear brand PUMA has been announced, bringing together the hit original anime and one of the world’s most recognizable footwear companies for a collection of exclusive sneakers and merchandise.
The partnership, titled “PUMA meets Lycoris Recoil,” centers around a specially designed version of PUMA’s Rebound Slam Lo silhouette that has been customized to reflect the series’ two main heroines, Chisato Nishikigi and Takina Inoue.

Lycoris Recoil became one of anime’s breakout successes following its 2022 debut, earning praise for its combination of stylish action, character-driven storytelling, and the dynamic relationship between Chisato and Takina.

The series follows a secret organization that trains young operatives known as Lycoris to protect society from threats behind the scenes, with Chisato and Takina serving as the story’s central duo.

The “PUMA meets Lycoris Recoil” collection channels that partnership into two separate sneaker packages, allowing fans to choose between designs inspired by either character.

Both versions are built around the same core sneaker model and feature black shoelaces as standard.

Each set also includes a replacement pair of insoles decorated with exclusive anime line-art illustrations created for the collaboration.

The differences between the two editions come from their character-specific accessories, with unique shoelace colors and specially designed shoe charms created to match either Chisato or Takina.

The “CHISATO SET” contains the sneaker pair, two Chisato-themed shoe charms, two Chisato-themed shoelaces, and the illustrated replacement insoles.

The “TAKINA SET” includes the sneaker pair, two Takina-themed shoe charms, two Takina-themed shoelaces, and the same exclusive illustrated replacement insoles.

The sneakers will be available in sizes ranging from 22 cm to 30 cm, offered in increments of 0.5 cm to accommodate a wide variety of wearers.
Fans who purchase a “CHISATO SET” will receive a Chisato-themed postcard as a bonus item, while buyers of the “TAKINA SET” will receive a postcard featuring Takina.

Collectors who order two or more sneaker sets in a single transaction will also receive one collaboration-exclusive acrylic keychain per order.

In addition to the footwear release, the collaboration will be supported by a dedicated pop-up event featuring product displays, themed merchandise, and opportunities for visitors to examine sample versions of the sneakers in person.

The event will also offer fitting opportunities using a separate shoe model designed to replicate the sizing and fit of the collaboration sneakers, helping fans determine the most suitable size before placing an order.

Specially illustrated merchandise using newly created artwork produced for the collaboration will also be available during the event.

The “PUMA meets Lycoris Recoil” pop-up shop is scheduled to run at the event space on the seventh floor of Kinshicho Marui in Tokyo from July 2 through July 20, 2026.

Pre-orders for both sneaker sets will open on July 2, 2026, and remain available until August 2, 2026, through the official Marui Web Channel online store.
Each “Rebound Slam Lo Zero Recoil” sneaker set is priced at ¥15,400 (approx. $105 USD/ £77 GBP).
