Ghost in the Shell Collab Keyboard and Matching Keycaps Revealed by IQUNIX
A new collaboration between keyboard manufacturer IQUNIX and the legendary cyberpunk franchise Ghost in the Shell has been revealed, bringing a specially themed version of the company’s EV63 keyboard to fans and gamers alike.
Timed to coincide with the arrival of ScienceSARU’s new Ghost in the Shell anime, the collaboration introduces the “IQUNIX EV63 Ghost in the Shell Edition,” a premium mechanical keyboard available in two distinct visual styles known as Cyber Blue and Shell Core.
Ghost in the Shell has remained one of the most influential science-fiction anime properties for decades, blending advanced technology, cybernetic enhancement, artificial intelligence, and philosophical themes within a futuristic world where the boundaries between humans and machines continue to blur.
The “IQUNIX EV63 Ghost in the Shell Edition” takes direct inspiration from the franchise’s iconic cyberpunk aesthetic, incorporating design elements that reflect the series’ futuristic setting and technological themes.
The keyboard is built using IQUNIX’s signature aluminum alloy chassis and combines its themed appearance with hardware aimed at competitive gaming and high-performance use.
Among its key features are magnetic switches designed for rapid actuation and precise input detection.
The keyboard also supports an 8,000Hz polling rate and a 16,000Hz scan rate, helping deliver exceptionally responsive controls during fast-paced gameplay.
These specifications are intended to provide greater accuracy and lower input latency, making the keyboard particularly appealing to first-person shooter players and esports enthusiasts.
In addition to the keyboard itself, a pair of themed keycap sets inspired by Ghost in the Shell is being released under the KEYTOK brand.
The first option, known as the “GHOST Version,” utilizes the SMILE profile and is designed to prioritize comfort during everyday typing and extended use sessions.
The second configuration, called the “SHELL Version,” adopts the KOL profile and is tailored toward players seeking maximum responsiveness and competitive performance.
Both keycap sets continue the collaboration’s futuristic visual style and allow users to further customize their setup with Ghost in the Shell-inspired designs.
Pre-orders for the “IQUNIX EV63 Ghost in the Shell Edition” are available now through the official IQUNIX online store, with both the Cyber Blue and Shell versions priced at $249 USD (approx. $249 USD/£184 GBP) each, while the KEYTOK “GHOST Version” and “SHELL Version” keycap sets are priced at $79 USD (approx. $79 USD/£58 GBP) each.
