Square Enix Announces New Final Fantasy X 25th Anniversary Exhibition

Square Enix’s hit RPG Final Fantasy X is celebrating its 25th anniversary with a brand-new exhibition that will give fans a chance to revisit one of the series’ most iconic adventures through rare behind-the-scenes materials and commemorative displays.
Originally released in 2001 for the PlayStation 2, Final Fantasy X introduced players to the world of Spira and the journey of Tidus and Yuna, becoming one of the franchise’s most influential entries thanks to its emotional story, memorable cast, and groundbreaking visuals for its time.

Titled “FINAL FANTASY X MUSEUM -Memories of the Pyreflies-”, the exhibition will explore the game’s legacy through a collection of valuable development materials and other rarely seen items created during its production.

Visitors will also be able to browse and purchase exclusive commemorative merchandise created for the anniversary event, with further details expected to be revealed closer to the exhibition’s opening.

As part of the celebration, selected fan artwork and personal memories submitted through the official Final Fantasy X 25th anniversary website will also be displayed, allowing longtime fans to share how the game has impacted them over the past quarter century.

The announcement was accompanied by the launch of the exhibition’s official website and official X account, which will be used to share updates on the exhibition, merchandise lineup and ticket information in the coming weeks.

Ticket details have not yet been announced, although additional information is expected through the exhibition’s official website in due course.

”FINAL FANTASY X MUSEUM -Memories of the Pyreflies-” will be held at Lumine Zero in Shinjuku, Tokyo from September 12 through September 27, 2026.
