Classic Gundam and Gundam ZZ Mobile Suits Inspire STRICT-G’s Latest Official Fashion Collection

Bandai’s official Gundam apparel brand STRICT-G has revealed a new embroidered fashion collection inspired by Mobile Suit Gundam and Mobile Suit Gundam ZZ, featuring premium open-collar shirts and matching nylon tote bags decorated with some of the franchise’s most iconic mobile suits.
Mobile Suit Gundam introduced the long-running real robot franchise in 1979, while Mobile Suit Gundam ZZ continued the Universal Century storyline with a lighter tone before developing into one of the series’ most dramatic entries.

The collection celebrates four fan-favorite mobile suits, including the RX-78-2 Gundam, Char’s MS-06S Zaku II, the MSZ-010 ZZ Gundam, and the MSN-00100 Hyaku Shiki, with each receiving its own embroidered shirt and matching tote bag design.

The rayon open-collar shirts feature a subtle embroidered emblem across the chest, while the back showcases an intricate embroidered illustration of the featured mobile suit that gives each design a bold but premium appearance.

The matching nylon tote bags use a durable heavy twill fabric similar to that found on MA-1 jackets, combining the same large embroidered artwork with a practical design that includes an internal pocket, a D-ring for attaching accessories, and a bright rescue orange lining that makes it easier to find items inside.

The collection is available through Premium Bandai in both Japan and the US, which gives North American fans an easier way to add the latest STRICT-G designs to their collection without relying on Japanese import retailers or proxy services.

The embroidered open-collar shirts are priced at US$118 through Premium Bandai US or ¥14,080 (approx. $87 USD / £65 GBP) through Premium Bandai Japan, while the nylon tote bags are priced at US$65 through Premium Bandai US or ¥7,700 (approx. $47 USD / £36 GBP) through Premium Bandai Japan.
Pre-orders are now open through Premium Bandai US and the STRICT-G Online Store on Premium Bandai Japan ahead of the collection’s wider retail launch.
The collection is currently scheduled to begin shipping during August 2026 in Japan and September 2026 through Premium Bandai US, with a general retail release at STRICT-G stores across Japan beginning on August 1, 2026.
