Huge New Wave of Vocaloid Figures Officially Revealed by Good Smile Company
Image by James RichardsonGood Smile Company has officially unveiled a huge new collection of Hatsune Miku and virtual singer figures at Magical Mirai 2026 Tokyo, covering everything from large-scale display pieces to Nendoroids and POP UP PARADE releases.
The announcements include completely new figures alongside the first painted looks at several previously revealed projects, with Hatsune Miku joined by KAITO and UTAUloid Kasane Teto across the lineup.
Good Smile Company has become one of the most closely associated figure manufacturers with Hatsune Miku over the years, producing an extensive range of scale figures, Nendoroids, figma releases and other collectibles based on her constantly changing designs.
Magical Mirai is Miku’s biggest annual event, combining 3DCG concerts with an exhibition celebrating music, illustration, merchandise, technology and the wider creative culture that has developed around her and the other Piapro Characters.
2026 marks the 14th edition of Magical Mirai and the first to include Hamamatsu alongside the traditional Osaka and Tokyo stops, with the final Tokyo leg running from August 28 through August 30.
Let’s take a look at all of the new figures and updates revealed at the Tokyo event!
One of the headline reveals was the first painted prototype for the “G.S. Collection [SC] Hatsune Miku Symphony 10th Anniversary Ver.,” which transforms the anniversary artwork for the orchestral concert series into a new scale figure.
Good Smile has also confirmed production of a separate “Hatsune Miku Symphony 2025 Osaka/Tokyo Concert Ver.” statue, expanding the Symphony collection with another design taken directly from the long-running concert project.
Sakura Miku is receiving a new figure of her own through the “G.S. Collection Sakura Miku: GSC Illustration Contest Ver.,” with its completed painted prototype now shown publicly for the first time.
The figure is based on artwork selected through Good Smile Company’s Sakura Miku illustration contest, giving one fan-created interpretation of the cherry blossom-themed version of Miku a full collectible release.
KAITO also gets one of the larger reveals through the “G.S. Collection KAITO: Chinese Style Ver.” scale figure which has now progressed to a fully painted prototype after previously being announced without a finished color sample.
The Nendoroid lineup is expanding at the same time, beginning with the first painted prototype for “Nendoroid Hatsune Miku V6”.
The figure adapts Miku’s latest official appearance associated with Hatsune Miku V6, giving the newest generation of Crypton Future Media’s singing software its own chibi collectible shortly after the software launched in 2026.
Snow Miku fans also received their first look at the painted “Nendoroid Snow Miku: Snow Metamorph Ver.,” continuing Good Smile’s long-running tradition of turning the annual Snow Miku design into a Nendoroid.
Another completely new Nendoroid has been announced through “Hatsune Miku: Katsushika Hokusai Collaboration Ver.,” based on artwork by Rella that brings Miku together with imagery inspired by one of Japan’s most famous artists.
Good Smile’s larger and more affordable POP UP PARADE L range is also getting three major additions, two of which are the newly painted “POP UP PARADE Hatsune Miku DecoMiku L Size” figures that will let fans pick between the Lightness/Darkness versions of the design.
The third is “POP UP PARADE Kasane Teto: Synthesizer V AI Ver. L Size,” giving Teto a substantially larger figure based on the appearance associated with her Synthesizer V AI voice database.
Teto originally began life as an April Fools’ character connected to UTAU before developing a huge following of her own, with the 2023 release of Kasane Teto AI for Synthesizer V introducing the character to an entirely new generation of music creators.
Good Smile rounded out the announcements by confirming a re-release of the “Racing Miku 2021: Private Ver.” scale figure, giving collectors another chance to pick up one of the more elaborate interpretations of the 2021 Racing Miku design.
The 1/7-scale figure originally released in February 2024 and stands approximately 25 cm tall, recreating En Morikura’s illustration with translucent coloring through Miku’s hair and a cobblestone-style display base.
Good Smile has not yet announced prices or release schedules for most of the newly revealed figures, with further information expected individually as each project moves closer to pre-orders.
The company also presented the new lineup during its latest “Smile Friday” livestream, allowing fans who cannot attend Magical Mirai 2026 Tokyo to take a closer look at the figures.
