Wing Gundam Zero EW’s dramatic Cross Contrast Colors redesign has returned to Premium Bandai US, with a new batch of the clear-purple Master Grade kit now available to pre-order.

Based on the MG 1/100 Wing Gundam Zero EW Ver.Ka, this edition replaces the Mobile Suit’s familiar white, blue, red, and yellow appearance with a darker combination of solid, clear, and metallic finishes.

The Cross Contrast Colors line was created to present familiar Mobile Suits through sharply contrasting materials and color schemes, turning Wing Gundam Zero EW’s traditionally angelic appearance into something noticeably darker and more imposing.

Deep purple and black armor give Wing Zero a more sinister presence, while glossy metallic-red details and asymmetrical mirror-silver markings create the impression that the machine is being consumed by an unknown energy.

Mirror-finished water-transfer decals are included to complete the elaborate pattern across the armor, while a clear-purple action base complements the new color scheme and supports the kit’s larger aerial poses.

The kit retains the expansive wing binders and transformation features of the Ver.Ka release, including its Neo Bird Mode configurations and atmospheric-entry pose.

Its Twin Buster Rifles can be displayed separately or combined into their iconic firing configuration, attached to the forearms for additional support, or folded and stored beneath the main wings when not in use.

Two beam sabers with clear-purple effects and the transformable shield are also included, with the shield forming the nose of the Mobile Suit’s Neo Bird Mode.

Additional connector parts support the Mobile Suit, Neo Bird Mode, and atmospheric-entry displays, allowing the clear-purple action base to be used across the kit’s main configurations.

Pre-orders for this latest US release of the kit opened on July 23, 2026, at 2:00 PM EDT and are scheduled to close on August 24, 2026, at 2:59 AM EDT, although availability may end earlier depending on demand.
