Official Baki Bento Box Recreates the Series’ Iconic Father & Son Meal

Japanese bento manufacturer Maneki Foods has revealed an exciting new culinary collaboration honoring the hit martial arts anime series Baki.
The “Baki Bento” was specifically created to commemorate the recent premiere of “Baki-Dou: The Invincible Samurai” on Netflix.

Keisuke Itagaki’s legendary Baki franchise has entertained readers for decades, remarkably shifting over 100 million manga volumes across the globe.
The overarching story tracks the brutal journey of a young fighter determined to surpass his father, Yujiro Hanma, who is widely feared as the strongest creature on Earth.

Recent animated adaptations of the manga have been incredibly well-received, securing high global viewership rankings on Netflix.
This special lunch box takes its creative cues directly from the famous “Father & Son Dining” episode of the anime.

The menu directly reflects Yujiro’s intense dining philosophy, reminding consumers to be deeply conscious of the life they are consuming at the dinner table.
Hungry fans are treated to a heavy protein lineup, including a juicy sirloin steak and a serving of “yuan-yaki style” mackerel.

These main dishes are complemented by classic Japanese sides, such as sweet simmered carrots, shibazuke pickles, and simmered wakame seaweed.
The meal is presented in an exclusive wrapper featuring high-impact character visuals to match the intensity of the show.

As an added bonus, every box contains one randomly inserted novelty magnet sheet.
Collectors can hunt down six unique designs, which includes five standard character variants and one highly sought-after secret illustration.

This bento release joins a surprising wave of food-centric promotions currently surrounding the violent fighting series.
McDonald’s Japan recently dropped a teaser image for an upcoming menu crossover featuring Baki and the Chinese martial arts master Retsu Kaioh.

A new spin-off comic called “Baki Gaiden Doppo – Hitori Nomi Kui Aruki” will also debut next month, focusing entirely on Doppo Orochi’s solo dining adventures.

The “Baki Bento” is priced at 1,500 yen (excluding tax), and the themed meals officially went on sale on Friday, April 17, 2026.

Fans can secure them at Maneki Foods retail counters inside the Umeda Hanshin Department Store, the Abeno Harukas Kintetsu Department Store, and the Namba Takashimaya, all of which are in Osaka, as well as at Himeji Station.
Maneki Foods intends to gradually increase the number of participating sales locations as the promotion continues.
