Bandai Fully Unveils New Gundam: IBO Ryusei-Go (Graze Custom III) Gunpla Kit as Pre-Orders Open
Image by Charlotte DavisBandai has officially revealed a new exclusive Gunpla kit based on Norba Shino’s heavily rebuilt Ryusei-Go from Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans.
The “HG 1/144 Ryusei-Go (Graze Custom III)” recreates the mobile suit as it appears in Iron-Blooded Orphans: Urdr-Hunt, where extensive repairs leave it with a distinctive asymmetrical appearance made up of parts from several different machines.

Ryusei-Go’s history can be traced back to a Gjallarhorn Graze captured by Tekkadan on Mars, which was rebuilt as the Graze Custom before receiving further modifications for Shino.
That second major upgrade created the brightly colored Ryusei-Go (Graze Custom II), combining Teiwaz technology with the Alaya-Vijnana System and adopting the pink color scheme and enlarged head fin requested by its new pilot.

The machine was critically damaged during the Battle of Edmonton at the end of Iron-Blooded Orphans’ first season, losing its head and suffering extensive damage during Tekkadan’s fight against Graze Ein.

Graze Ein itself has also recently returned to the spotlight, with Bandai revealing a new 1/100 FULL MECHANICS Gunpla kit of the huge mobile suit responsible for leaving Ryusei-Go in need of another major rebuild.

The resulting Ryusei-Go (Graze Custom III) uses Teiwaz-made parts across areas including its head, right arm, and backpack, creating an intentionally mismatched design around the original Gjallarhorn-built Graze frame.

This repaired form appears in Iron-Blooded Orphans: Urdr-Hunt, which takes place between the first and second seasons of the original anime and expands on events occurring during Tekkadan’s rise to prominence.

Bandai’s new High Grade kit reworks the previously released Ryusei-Go (Graze Custom II), using newly molded exterior parts to recreate the substantial changes made to Shino’s repaired machine.

The existing frame has also received additional parts and revised articulation, including new movement through the head, central torso and legs alongside pull-out joints around the arms.

Its Teiwaz-made backpack features movable armor connected to the rear verniers, allowing both sections to move together when adjusting the unit for more aggressive combat poses.

Weapons include the large Bastard Axe and a Short Rifle, giving Ryusei-Go a combination of heavy close-range equipment and a more compact firearm.

Joint parts for the Kutan Type III are included as well, allowing the kit to connect with the separately sold support craft used by Tekkadan throughout the first season.

The Battle of Edmonton has become the focus of another recent Iron-Blooded Orphans Gunpla release through the “HG 1/144 Gundam Barbatos Adapt,” which recreates Mikazuki Augus’ heavily damaged Gundam after the same conflict and before its eventual transformation into Gundam Barbatos Lupus.

The “HG 1/144 Ryusei-Go (Graze Custom III)” is now available to pre-order exclusively through Premium Bandai Japan for ¥2,750 (approximately $17 / £13), with shipping scheduled for February 2027.
For builders in the US, the kit should appear through Premium Bandai US shortly, as corresponding US pre-orders can often take several days or weeks to appear after the initial Japanese pre-order window opens.
