The Pokémon Trading Card Game is getting its first dedicated Valentine’s Day release, turning mini booster packs into gifts that can be addressed and handed out to friends or classmates.
The new “Pokémon TCG: Valentine’s Box” includes 20 special Collect & Share Booster Packs alongside To/From labels and decorative stickers, with the packaging itself converting into a mailbox for receiving Valentine cards.

The idea expands on the seasonal format Pokémon previously used for its Halloween “Trick or Trade” releases, which bundled large numbers of smaller three-card booster packs designed to be handed out individually instead of opened like a standard Pokémon TCG product.

This time, each Collect & Share Booster Pack can be personalized using the included To/From labels before being given away, tying the act of trading Pokémon cards directly into the classroom-style Valentine exchanges common across the US.

The box contains two sheets of those To/From labels alongside three additional sticker sheets that can be used to decorate the convertible mailbox, giving the packaging a purpose after the booster packs have been removed.

Twenty Collect & Share Booster Packs are included in total, although Pokémon has not yet revealed the card checklist or shown which Pokémon will appear inside the new packs.

It also remains unclear whether the Valentine’s release will follow Trick or Trade by using themed reprints with a special seasonal stamp, meaning collectors will need to wait for further details before knowing exactly how different the included cards are from existing versions.

The Valentine’s Box follows the Pokémon TCG’s 30th anniversary celebrations throughout 2026, which included the “30th Celebration” expansion featuring 30 different Pikachu cards, all-foil packs and commemorative reprints including the original Base Set Charizard.

The “Pokémon TCG: Valentine’s Box” is scheduled to launch in the US on January 15, 2027, giving fans almost a month to pick one up before Valentine’s Day on February 14, with further details about its content set to be revealed in the near future.
