Pokémon Reveals 2027 Lucky Box With Exclusive Pichu, Pikachu and Raichu Plushies

Pokémon Center is bringing back its annual New Year lucky box with three new plushies starring the complete Pikachu evolutionary family.
The newly revealed “PikaPika Box 2027” guarantees fans one of three exclusive plush designs featuring Pichu, Pikachu or Raichu, alongside several additional Pokémon Center goods that will remain a mystery until the box is opened.

PikaPika Boxes are Pokémon Center’s take on Japan’s traditional fukubukuro, or lucky bags, bundling a surprise selection of merchandise together with at least one item created specifically for that year’s release.
Last year’s “PikaPika Box 2026” guaranteed one of three Magikarp shoulder bags featuring male, female or Shiny versions of the Pokémon.

For 2027, Pichu, Pikachu and Raichu have each been recreated popping excitedly out of a Pokémon Center delivery box, with one of the three plushies included at random.

The outer shipping box uses matching artwork of the Electric-type trio, extending the same playful delivery theme across the packaging.

Everything else inside is being kept secret, with Pokémon only confirming that each box will contain several additional pieces of merchandise alongside its guaranteed plush.

Pikachu has been particularly prominent across Pokémon Center merchandise during the franchise’s 30th anniversary celebrations, including the recent “Getting Ready for Christmas!” collection that dresses the series mascot as a Christmas tree.

With Pichu and Raichu having joined Pikachu across decades of games and animation, the 2027 “PikaPika Box” is one of the few recent Pokémon Center releases to put all three stages of the evolutionary line together at the center of a collection.
Unlike merchandise sold through regular Pokémon Center stores, the “PikaPika Box 2027” will only be available through a lottery held by Pokémon Center Online in Japan, with no physical Pokémon Center or Pokémon Store release planned.

Lottery applications are open from October 27 until November 2, 2026, with successful applicants due to be notified from November 6 and given until November 17 to complete their purchase.

Orders are scheduled to ship between December 11 and December 25, ahead of the New Year celebrations the annual box is designed around.
The “PikaPika Box 2027” is priced at ¥5,500 (approx. $35 USD / £26 GBP), up from ¥4,400 for the 2026 edition.
