Thrifty Business Debuts May 18

Developer Spellgarden announced on April 2, 2026, that the upcoming management simulation game Thrifty Business is scheduled to launch for PC via Steam on May 18, 2026.
The game invites players to take charge of a vintage thrift shop inspired by the aesthetics and atmosphere of the 1990s.
Gameplay revolves around searching through boxes of pre-loved items to create unique and attractive displays while unlocking various furniture, decorations, wallpaper, and flooring options.
Players can meticulously organize their wares by color, theme, or purpose to earn community points, which are essential for unlocking additional store upgrades and decorative items.
Beyond retail management, the title emphasizes community building by allowing players to listen to customer stories and host hobbyist events to create a welcoming third space for locals.
Thrifty Business features a relaxed experience with over 500 different items and colorful 90s-inspired graphics, purposefully avoiding stressful mechanics such as profit min-maxing or price haggling.
The developer also released a new trailer alongside the announcement to showcase the precision placement tools and the quirky cast of customers players will encounter when the shop opens on May 18, 2026.
