Starbucks Japan adds new Pear and Caramel Frappuccino to their Autumn menu

Starbucks Coffee Japan has announced two new, limited-time menu items, featuring a blend of pear and caramel flavors to welcome the autumn season.
These two new autumn-themed menu items will be joining a recently released sweet potato-themed tea latte, which went on sale on the 3rd of September.

The first newly announced menu addition is the “Pear & Raw Caramel Frappuccino,” a drink designed to be enjoyed like a dessert, with a layered and evolving flavor profile.
The base of the cup contains a sauce made with the rich flavor of pear fruit chunks and a sweet, rich “raw” caramel.

This is blended with a Frappuccino base of pear and milk.
The drink is then finished with a topping of whipped cream and a special sauce made with the juice of La France pears from Yamagata Prefecture.
The developers recommend a special way to enjoy the new drink.
First, you should eat a spoonful of the whipped cream and La France pear sauce topping, which is said to resemble the cream and fruit on top of a cake.

After that, they recommend enjoying the main body of the Frappuccino, which combines the pear’s gentle sweetness with the rich caramel sauce at the bottom.
Launching alongside the new Frappuccino is a new dessert, the “Pear and Caramel Black Tea Cake.”

This cake features a bottom crust topped with a layer of Earl Grey mousse and a layer of pear mousse.
It is then finished with chunks of pear and a caramel sauce topping, creating a harmony of floral tea, fruit, and rich caramel flavors.

The “Pear & Raw Caramel Frappuccino” is available in a Tall size only, and it is priced at ¥687 for takeout or ¥700 for dine-in.
The “Pear and Caramel Black Tea Cake” is priced at ¥520 for takeout or ¥530 for dine-in.
Both of the new, seasonal menu items are scheduled to be released at Starbucks locations across Japan from Wednesday, the 10th of September, 2025.
