Pokémon Officially Returns to Lumiose City for New Legends: Z-A Collection

The official Pokémon Center has revealed a new merchandise collection inspired by everyday life in Pokémon Legends: Z-A’s Lumiose City.
The “An Elegant Day in Lumiose” collection recreates items and locations from the game through a range of plush toys, clothing, stationery and home accessories featuring exclusive illustrations of the city and its Pokémon.

Pokémon Legends: Z-A launched for Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2 in October 2025, returning players to the Kalos region originally introduced in Pokémon X and Pokémon Y.

The game takes place entirely within Lumiose City, where a major urban redevelopment project aims to create an environment in which humans and Pokémon can live together.

Its Paris-inspired streets, cafés and landmarks provide the setting for an adventure that also introduces new characters, an expanded Mega Evolution system and the competitive Z-A Royale.
One of the biggest attractions of the newly announced merchandise is the “Canari Plush Collection”, which recreates a set of collectible items that players can obtain while exploring Lumiose City.

The plush toys are based on Canari, a popular in-game streamer and Pokémon Trainer who is known for her partnership with Eelektross and her devoted fan club, DYN4MO.

In Pokémon Legends: Z-A, players can collect Colorful Screws hidden around the city and exchange them for five different Canari Plush toys at Racine Construction, with each version providing a useful gameplay bonus.
The rest of the “An Elegant Day in Lumiose” collection focuses on the city’s locations and the quieter moments shared between its human residents and Pokémon.

Its original illustrations capture scenes from places such as Prism Tower, Nouveau Café, the Lumiose Museum and the city’s Wild Zones, with several products incorporating collage-style artwork that combines the landmarks with different Pokémon.
Let’s take a look at the full collection!

A drinking tumbler modeled after the café featured in Pokémon Legends: Z-A.
- Lumiose Museum Art Magnet Collection: ¥880

- A4 Clear File: ¥275

- Canari Plush Collection: ¥2,310 (approximately $15 / £11)

Five plush toys recreating the Red, Blue, Green, Pink and Gold Canari Plush variations from the game, sold in mystery packages so buyers won’t know which version they have received until opening it.
The new merchandise follows an earlier Pokémon Legends: Z-A collection released in October 2025, which included clothing inspired by the game’s protagonists alongside souvenirs based on Lumiose City.

That range allowed fans to recreate the protagonist’s outfit through officially licensed jackets, hats and accessories, with other products including a Lumiose City map poster, themed stationery and a mug featuring Pokémon from the city.

Lumiose City also appeared in the Pokémon Center’s Kalos-themed “Pokémon Timeless Adventure” collection earlier in 2026, which celebrated Pokémon X and Pokémon Y through new artwork featuring Chespin, Fennekin and Froakie.

That collection depicted the three Pokémon enjoying Poké Puffs inside a room overlooking Prism Tower, offering another interpretation of everyday life in the Kalos region.
The full “An Elegant Day in Lumiose” merchandise collection is scheduled for release in Japan on October 29, 2026, through official Pokémon Center stores and Pokémon Center Online, with online sales beginning at 10:00 AM JST on the same day.

The Pokémon Company has also confirmed that a new Nintendo Switch 2 package combining Pokémon Legends: Z-A with its paid “Mega Dimension” expansion will launch on October 29, coinciding with the merchandise collection.

At the time of writing, there has been no confirmed announcement regarding a separate US or European release for the “An Elegant Day in Lumiose” collection.
