JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure’s New Official Wireless Headphones Feature Exclusive Dio and Jonathan Voice Lines

The new “OpenRun Pro 2 Jonathan Joestar Model” and “OpenDots 2 Dio Brando Model” feature character-inspired designs, exclusive voice notifications, and special gift box editions celebrating the anime’s upcoming 15th anniversary.

Created by Hirohiko Araki, JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure began serialization in Weekly Shonen Jump in 1987, following the extraordinary adventures of the Joestar family across multiple generations.

The first story arc, Phantom Blood, takes place in 19th-century England and introduces Jonathan Joestar and his adopted brother Dio Brando, whose rivalry leads to a confrontation involving the mysterious Stone Mask and the supernatural power of Hamon.

The television anime premiered with Phantom Blood in October 2012, followed by Battle Tendency in December, and will celebrate its 15th anniversary in 2027.

Shokz is also celebrating its own 15th anniversary in 2026, making the collaboration a joint commemoration of the two milestones.

The brand specializes in open-ear audio technology, producing headphones and earbuds that allow listeners to hear their surroundings without blocking their ear canals.
The Jonathan Joestar edition is based on the Shokz OpenRun Pro 2, adopting a dark navy and gray color scheme inspired by Jonathan’s dignified appearance.

Its frame incorporates artwork depicting Jonathan delivering a Hamon-powered punch, alongside markings inspired by the words “Luck” and “Pluck” engraved on the sword he inherits from the knight Bruford.

The markings reference one of the defining moments of Phantom Blood, when Bruford acknowledges Jonathan’s courage and passes his sword to him during their confrontation.

The Dio Brando edition uses the OpenDots 2, a compact ear-cuff design that sits around the outside of the ear rather than relying on a conventional in-ear fit.

Its gray body takes inspiration from the Stone Mask, with red and gold accents referencing Dio’s eyes and blond hair.

Additional decorations include Dio’s name, a rose emblem representing his beauty and cruelty, and a symbol inspired by the three birthmarks associated with his extraordinary luck.

Both editions retain the audio technology of their respective Shokz models, with the Jonathan version using DualPitch technology to combine bone conduction and air conduction drivers for balanced sound across different frequencies.
The OpenRun Pro 2 also offers up to 12 hours of continuous playback, Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity, and IP55 dust and water resistance.

Dio’s OpenDots 2 instead uses Shokz Bassphere 2.0 technology and enhanced Dolby Audio, with flexible nickel-titanium components designed to keep the ear cuffs secure and comfortable.

The earbuds carry an IP57 dust and water resistance rating, with the charging case separately rated IP54.
One of the collaboration’s biggest attractions is the inclusion of exclusive voice notifications based on Jonathan and Dio.

A total of 12 character voice recordings are included across the two models, allowing fans to hear their chosen character during everyday functions such as switching on their headphones.

Shokz has also revealed two special gift box editions, each limited to just 500 sets worldwide and available through a separate purchase lottery.

Jonathan’s edition comes in a royal blue presentation box featuring knight-inspired patterns and includes the headphones, a matching carrying case, a diamond-patterned handkerchief, and a transparent character card.

Dio’s gift box adopts a dark burgundy color scheme decorated with rose and birthmark motifs, containing the earbuds, Stone Mask-inspired ear accessories, an embroidered drawstring pouch, and a transparent Dio card.

The new audio collaboration follows several other officially licensed Phantom Blood products released during 2026, including a collection of Jonathan and Dio-themed razors produced by Japanese grooming brand AUGER.

The range also included designs inspired by Battle Tendency, with special packaging, collectible acrylic stands, and character-themed purchase bonuses.

Taito also recently turned Phantom Blood’s mysterious Stone Mask into a functional PC mouse, complete with illuminated eyes and a sculpt inspired by its appearance in the anime.

The “OpenRun Pro 2 Jonathan Joestar Model” will be priced at ¥27,880 (approximately $176 / £132), while the “OpenDots 2 Dio Brando Model” will cost ¥29,880 (approximately $189 / £142).

Both headphones are scheduled for release on October 23, 2026, through the official Shokz online store and select electronics retailers across Japan.

The special gift box editions are available through a separate lottery application, which opened on October 16 and will close at 11:59 PM JST on October 21, with each edition offered at the same price as its corresponding standard collaboration model.

Applicants will be notified of the lottery results on October 22, with successful orders scheduled to begin shipping from October 23.

Shokz is also holding a promotional giveaway until October 22, allowing participants who register their email address through the campaign website to enter a draw for a limited-edition gift box, collaboration headphones, life-sized character standees, and Shokz reward points.
