Sanrio Gives Hello Kitty and Friends a Colorful Pastel Makeover for New “Rainbow Series” Collection

Sanrio has launched a colorful new accessory collection, giving four of its most popular characters a soft rainbow makeover across pouches, pass cases and smaller everyday items.
The new “Rainbow Series” stars Hello Kitty, My Melody, Cinnamoroll and Kuromi across seven different product types, all using gently colored gradient fabric that gives the collection its pastel appearance.

The four-character lineup brings together some of Sanrio’s most recognizable current favorites, ranging from the company’s original global icon Hello Kitty to characters such as Cinnamoroll and Kuromi that have become major stars with a newer generation of fans.

The collection uses fabric with shifting gradients, meaning the positioning and combination of colors can differ slightly between individual items and the material also has a soft, fluffy texture that fits the gentler colors, while the character faces and familiar details are worked directly into the different pouch and pass case designs.

Each of the seven product types is available across the four-character lineup, making it possible to stick with a favorite character or combine several different designs from the range.
