Sanrio is bringing back its popular holiday-themed prize lottery for a second year, giving ten of its most popular characters a new collection of ballet-inspired outfits decorated with ribbons, frills and festive accessories.

The new “Sanrio characters Holiday Collection 2026” from Happy Kuji includes two enormous Hello Kitty and Kuromi plush toys, ten miniature character figures and a wide selection of accessories, all featuring exclusive designs created for the holiday season.

This year’s collection takes inspiration from the popular balletcore fashion trend, combining soft pink, white and navy colors with satin ribbons, lace and delicate details inspired by traditional ballet clothing.

The theme gives each character a coordinated makeover, with Hello Kitty, My Melody, Kuromi, Cinnamoroll, Pochacco, Pompompurin, Hangyodon, My Sweet Piano, Little Twin Stars and Wish Me Mell appearing throughout the collection.

Sanrio has previously explored similar designs with another official Balletcore collection, which dressed Hello Kitty, Kuromi, My Melody and Cinnamoroll in ribbon-covered outfits across plush mascots, pouches and accessories.

The brand has previously given Sanrio’s characters other themed makeovers, including the PUNKS Party Halloween 2026 collection, which replaced their usual colorful outfits with black clothing, chains and studs.
