Bandai has confirmed a limited time US re-release for one of Gundam Unicorn’s most impressive Perfect Grade Gunpla kits, with the exclusive Banshee Norn Final Battle version returning as part of a major limited-time promotional event.

The “PG 1/60 RX-0[N] UNICORN GUNDAM 02 BANSHEE NORN (FINAL BATTLE Ver.)” is one of many exclusive Gunpla kits and figures returning for Premium Bandai Week 2026, which has also temporarily lowered the minimum spend required for free shipping.

Banshee Norn is the upgraded form of the RX-0 Unicorn Gundam 02 from Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn, piloted by Riddhe Marcenas during the final stages of the conflict surrounding Laplace’s Box.

The machine serves as a powerful counterpart to Banagher Links’ Unicorn Gundam, sharing its ability to transform between Unicorn Mode and Destroy Mode through the activation of the experimental NT-D System.

During the climax of the anime’s seventh episode, Banshee Norn’s Psycho-Frame changes from its familiar golden color to a brilliant green, reflecting the Mobile Suit’s awakened state as Riddhe joins Banagher in the final confrontation.

Bandai originally released the exclusive Perfect Grade version in February 2018, recreating this appearance at 1/60 scale with a specially colored Psycho-Frame and additional markings.

Based on the standard “PG 1/60 Unicorn Gundam 02 Banshee Norn,” the kit replaces its translucent golden Psycho-Frame with clear green components made from light-gathering material.

The change gives the completed model a distinctive appearance against its dark navy armor and gold detailing, particularly when transformed into Destroy Mode and the internal frame becomes visible.

The kit retains the extensive transformation mechanisms of Bandai’s original Perfect Grade design, with individual armor sections opening across the head, torso, arms, and legs to reveal the Psycho-Frame beneath.

The head also features a transforming faceguard and the Banshee’s signature golden horn, which separates into a V-shaped antenna when the Mobile Suit enters Destroy Mode.

One of its biggest features is compatibility with the separately sold “PG 1/60 RX-0 Unicorn Gundam LED Unit,” allowing builders to illuminate the green Psycho-Frame throughout the completed model.

The lighting system can also be used to highlight the internal structure when the armor is opened, although the LED equipment is not included with the kit itself.

Banshee Norn’s distinctive Armed Armor XC backpack is also included, with movable components that open upward during transformation to create its familiar lion’s mane-like appearance.

Another major addition is the Armed Armor DE, an enlarged shield equipped with additional armor sections that can expand in Destroy Mode.

The shield can be mounted on the Mobile Suit’s forearm or carried on its back through the Armed Armor XC, allowing builders to recreate different configurations from the anime.

The kit also includes Banshee Norn’s Beam Magnum with its attached Revolving Launcher, alongside Beam Sabers and additional weapon accessories.

A special sheet of green metallic water-slide decals designed by Hajime Katoki is provided, featuring markings selected to complement the Final Battle version’s Psycho-Frame coloring.

The Banshee Norn has also received several other exclusive Gunpla releases, including the “MG 1/100 Unicorn Gundam 02 Banshee Norn (Final Battle Ver.),” which returned to Premium Bandai US for pre-orders in July 2026.

That smaller Master Grade version recreates the same green Psycho-Frame configuration alongside the Armed Armor XC, Armed Armor DE, and Revolving Launcher equipment.

Bandai also recently confirmed another US release for the “MG 1/100 Full Armor Unicorn Gundam (Red Color Ver.),” recreating Banagher’s heavily equipped Mobile Suit with the red Psycho-Frame seen during his battle against Banshee Norn.

Premium Bandai Week 2026 runs from October 8 at 10:00 AM EDT until October 13 at 11:59 PM EDT, with registered Premium Bandai US members able to qualify for free shipping on eligible orders of $50 or more instead of the usual $100 minimum when using the no-signature-required shipping option.

The “PG 1/60 RX-0[N] UNICORN GUNDAM 02 BANSHEE NORN (FINAL BATTLE Ver.)” has been specifically restocked for the event and is available for immediate purchase through Premium Bandai US for $302, although quantities are limited and the kit may sell out before the promotion ends.
