Fan Favorite Gundam UC MG Gunpla Kit Gets US Exclusive Re-Release

The green Psycho-Frame version of the Banshee Norn has arrived on Premium Bandai US, with pre-orders now open for the exclusive MG 1/100 Unicorn Gundam 02 Banshee Norn Final Battle Ver.
Based on the Mobile Suit’s appearance during the climax of Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn episode 7, this version replaces the Banshee Norn’s familiar golden Psycho-Frame with clear green parts that represent its awakened state during the final battle.

The contrast between the green Psycho-Frame, dark navy armor, and gold detailing gives the Final Battle Ver. a noticeably different appearance from the standard MG Banshee Norn.

Builders can transform the model between Unicorn Mode and Destroy Mode without replacing major sections, revealing the Psycho-Frame throughout the body as the armor expands.

The kit includes the Armed Armor XC backpack unit, which transforms into its lion’s mane-like Destroy Mode configuration and can carry either the Armed Armor DE or Beam Magnum.

Its Armed Armor DE can be displayed on the arm as a shield or mounted across the back, with its sections able to expand to match the model’s different modes.

The Beam Magnum is joined by the Banshee Norn’s Revolving Launcher, a four-round grenade launcher mounted beneath the weapon that includes a Beam Jutte effect part and a spare magazine that can be carried at the waist.

Additional weapons include beam sabers, while standing and seated figures of Banshee Norn pilot Riddhe Marcenas are also included.

A sheet of water-transfer decals provides MG-original markings in colors created specifically to complement the Final Battle version’s green Psycho-Frame.

The MG 1/100 Unicorn Gundam 02 Banshee Norn Final Battle Ver. was originally released through Premium Bandai in Japan in May 2015 before receiving a documented Japanese reissue in December 2016.

The MG 1/100 Unicorn Gundam 02 Banshee Norn Final Battle Ver. is available to pre-order now through Premium Bandai US for $87.00, with orders scheduled to close on September 16, 2026, at 2:59 AM EDT unless the available allocation is reached earlier.

Orders are scheduled to ship in October 2026.
