Mister Donut’s Black Thunder halloween collab menu returns for 2025

Japanese doughnut chain Mister Donut has announced that its popular collaboration with the “Black Thunder” chocolate bar is returning for the Halloween season.
This year’s “MISDO HALLOWEEN x Black Thunder” collection features a new lineup of three doughnuts designed to be even crunchier than before, alongside a new, Halloween-themed Pon de Ring.
“Black Thunder” is a long-running and beloved chocolate bar in Japan, famous for its “overwhelmingly crunchy” texture.

This new collaboration is built around a cute story where the mischievous “Pon de Choco Devil” has zapped the doughnuts with lightning, turning them into crunchy “Black Thunder Monsters.”
The new doughnuts are topped with an enhanced “zaku zaku” (crunchy) cocoa cookie topping to better replicate the texture of the famous chocolate bar.
The full lineup of four new doughnuts is as follows:
- Black Thunder Chocolate
- Takeout: ¥237

The new Halloween collection is scheduled to be released at Mister Donut locations across Japan from Wednesday, the 10th of September, and will be available until the 31st of October, 2025.
