New Screenshots and ‘Gameplay Reveal’ Trailer for Chronicles: Medieval

Developer Raw Power Games released a gameplay reveal trailer for its debut title, Chronicles: Medieval, on June 5, 2026.
This ambitious project is described as a vast, dynamic sandbox that combines action with role playing depth on a strategic scale.
Set during the Hundred Years’ War, the game allows players to explore a historically grounded depiction of medieval Europe.
Senior game designer Gareth Bourn, who previously worked on No Man’s Sky, emphasized that the title focuses on player agency within a world defined by conflict.
Players will be able to build characters from nothing, recruit armies, and forge alliances across the British Isles, France, and the Holy Roman Empire.
The Holy Roman Empire was recently confirmed as the third playable faction, joining England and France as major powers in the game.
Narrated by actor Lars Mikkelsen, the new trailer showcases large scale battles captured directly from the game engine.
Success on the battlefield requires a combination of cunning strategy and aggressive tactics to manage infantry and cavalry units.
Chronicles: Medieval is scheduled to launch in Early Access for PC via Steam at some point in 2026.
The studio aims to use the Early Access period to refine the experience alongside its community before a full release.
