Limited-Edition Frieren Watches Capture Two of the Series’ Most Memorable Spells

A new pair of officially licensed watches inspired by Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End is on the way, with both designs drawing inspiration from some of Frieren’s most memorable magical abilities.
The limited edition timepieces are being released by the anime collaboration brand “&C” and feature themes based on the spells “Zoltraak” and “Field of Flowers”.

Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End follows the long-lived elven mage Frieren after the defeat of the Demon King, exploring her journey through a world that has moved on following the legendary hero party’s victory.

Created by Kanehito Yamada and Tsukasa Abe, the manga has become one of the most acclaimed fantasy series of recent years and inspired a highly successful anime adaptation.

The first season aired between September 2023 and March 2024, while the second season was broadcast from January to March 2026.

A third season adapting the Golden Land arc has already been scheduled to begin airing in October 2027.

The “Zoltraak” watch takes inspiration from the offensive spell once known as the magic used to kill humans, a technique later studied, refined, and adopted by humanity as a standard attack spell.

Its dial features a deep blue glitter finish reminiscent of a night sky, with shimmering particles designed to evoke the intense burst of magical energy unleashed when the spell is cast.

References to the series appear throughout the design, including Himmel’s Mirror Lotus Ring positioned at the 12 o’clock marker and Frieren’s distinctive earrings incorporated into the 3 and 9 o’clock indices.

A custom-designed seconds hand modeled after Frieren’s staff moves across the dial as though tracing the path of a magical spell.

The watch also incorporates luminous detailing inspired by Zoltraak’s spell pattern, allowing intricate blue-white markings to emerge in low-light conditions.

Turning the watch over reveals artwork of Frieren engraved on the case back alongside an individual serial number from the limited production run.

An exclusive guarantee card featuring artwork created specifically for the model is also included.

The second design, titled “Field of Flowers,” is inspired by the spell Frieren learned from her mentor Flamme and has often described as her favorite magic.

This version utilizes a mother-of-pearl dial intended to recreate the tranquil image of flower petals gently drifting through the air as the spell takes effect.

Like the Zoltraak model, the design incorporates Himmel’s Mirror Lotus Ring at the 12 o’clock position and Frieren’s earrings at the 3 and 9 o’clock markers.

The seconds hand again takes the form of Frieren’s staff, creating the impression of magical trails sweeping across the iridescent dial surface.

The reverse side features Frieren artwork and an individually numbered engraving identifying the watch as part of the limited production run.

Collectors will also receive a dedicated guarantee card created exclusively for this version.

Both watches are limited to just 500 pieces each, making them true collectors items for dedicated fans of the series.
Pre-orders are scheduled to begin on June 19 through the Kentex online store, with each watch carrying a price of ¥38,500 (approx. $265 USD/£195 GBP).
